IS THIS ISSUE IMPORTANT?
Yes.
Namibians is a highly religious nation.
Churches are grass root organization where most ofthe families are represented, better organized with
broader membership base.
Members of the churches have undoubted faith,believe, respect and trust in the church and theirchurch leadership.
This makes these Religious institutions the idealorganizations to compliment and strengthen the
campaign violence against women and children

MONITORING AND EVALUATION
The supervision of the activities is in the hands ofthe coordinating committee through inspections andreports from participating institutions.
Participation and involvement in main arrangedprograms is also a tool of monitoring the involvedorganizations.

Churches are highly sensitized andawareness is growing very satisfactory.
Active and positive response which stimulate
participation and involvement. Most victims are coming out (reporting)-
(women and children) affected children areindentified on regular bases.

Reduction of families dismembering. Building women networks for mutual support.
Address the concerns of women in a multi-cultural, multi-ethic and spiritual context.
Promotion of women participation and involvement indevelopment programs.
Build networks among women to encourage bonds offriendship and creative exchange of ideas and
information. Sensitizing man to regard women as equal partner in the
social set-up.

a significant unit in the social set-up.

EFFECTIVENESS
Yes. The project is very effective because of the rolethe church play in the community and the trust themembers have in this institution.
Churches are well place for faster transmision ofinformation to the areas roofs who are marginalizedand not closely connected to this advancedTechnological means of communication andlanguages barriers.
