Amongst its dense, typically Mediterranean flora, this botanical gem boasts over 200 species of plants and flowers, some of which are priceless.Such variety can be attributed to Count Carl Justus Torresani who, following in the nineteenth century fashions of that time, had various exotic species planted, true rarities, some of which are still there today, such as the Sophora japonica and the Taxodium distichum or Bald Cypress, which stands 30 meters high in the park. What makes this place so unique is the rich collection of all kinds of flowers and plants, such as the giant Thuja Plicata gigante, first introduced into Europe in 1853 and one of the most important species of the North-American Pacific coast, or the pyramid-shaped Kashmir Cypress. Here you will find tree varieties typical of remote regions, such as the Aucuba, originally from China and Japan, where the more common Privet also comes from, the wood of which was used to make weapons for martial arts. Then there is the Cinnamomum camphora, or Camphor tree, rich with essential oil. As you wander through the park amidst streams and ponds, you cannot fail to admire oaks, myrtles, oleanders and magnolias, alongside plane trees, palms and bamboo which give an exotic touch to the vegetation, exploding in Spring in an absolute riot of flowers: the cob-shaped blooms of the camphor tree, the little blue flowers that form long spikes on the stems of the Russian sage and which bloom right up until summer, the lone white ones and the myrtle rose, which flowers from May right through to July. Then, Autumn comes, bringing with it the perfume of Osmanthus fragrans, whose small, whitish, four-petalled flowers have suchan intense fragrance.

What a lovely, rewarding sensation to breathe in and fill your lungs with the park’s fresh air, to feel in synch with the rhythm of nature and wallow in such a rich botanical heritage. The park is the perfect place for morning stretching and outdoor exercise, or to seek out a sun-bathing spot amongst the trees. You may also come across a variety of cute little creatures in the park of the resort, such as frogs and toads, turtles, squirrels and other small rodents and harmless reptiles, as well as the resident ducks and fish who have found their perfect home, sharing a habitat dedicated to bio-diversity.

So that you may recognise the plants more easily and get to know their features, we have produced a short, botanical guide, packed with scientific information and interesting facts. And you will find a small sign with a QR code situated next to thirty or so selected plants, so that you can use your smartphone to find out more.

Our multisport centre offers sailing, windsurfing and stand up paddle courses in the morning, when the gentle breeze of Alto Garda Trentino guarantees optimal conditions for beginners’ lessons. We offer our guests a rental service for all sorts of nautical equipment: sailing boats and catamarans, windsurfing for beginners and experts alike, kayaks, stand up paddle and pedaloes.Lessons last 2 or 3 hours, and after a short theoretical session and simulation on the beach, you move on to practice in the water, which is great fun right from the start!Sailing Du Lac organises courses both on sailing dinghies (mono-hull) and on catamarans for beginners and experts, as well as lessons for children from 5-6 to 12 years with special boats suitable for them.

Courses can be started any day and for as long as you want. You will normally reach a reasonable level of expertise after just 5-6 lessons, meaning that you will be able to sail alone in light to medium winds. At the end of the course there is also the option of acquiring a “VDWS” license, recognized all over the world for renting this type of boat.If you’re looking for a bit more adrenalin and a bit less instruction, you could book up for a catamaran “Joy Ride,” an exciting afternoon trip on the lake, when the wind is stronger. Under the guidance of an instructor who will be in charge of piloting the boat, you can take part by handling the sails and trying to steer the cat at full speed.

Sailing Du Lac, originally established for its own hotel guests and offering excellent sport activities, has latterly become a key reference point for all sailing enthusiasts who come to stay in the area.

You can also rent bicycles, from the tough Cannondale and Whistle mountain bikes to city bikes forall the family, as well as the latest e-bikes – electric cycles with minimum effort and guaranteed fun, as you enjoy the milesof trails along Lake Garda. It’s also possible to hire kayaks, sups, catamarans, a wide range of new surfboards and RRD sailing boats, or you could book a thrilling canyoning excursion in the plunging Trentino valleys or along the many climbing routes. Colodri, Cima Capi and Rio Sallagoni are amongst the most stunning of these, where a dramatic, fairy-tale landscape climbs from the canyon up to Drena Castle. Torbole and Riva del Garda are strategically placed for sailing events and have hosted key, prestigious national and international gatherings organised by the various clubs of the area: Riva del Garda Sailing Club; Torbole Sailing Club; Arco Sailing Club; Torbole Surf Club and the Italian Sailing League, which bring some of the very best practitioners of these sports to our shores. Amongst the many regattas planned for this year, worthy of note is the fourth edition of the Windsurf Grand Slam, hosted by the Torbole Surf Club, which will see four of the top national championships come together combining Freestyle, Slalom, Formula Windsurfing and Raceboard styles in a single event. All of Italy’s top surfers will challenge each other in a spectacular show, the greatest windsurf rally ever to be organised in Italy. “SUP,” or Stand Up Paddle, is the latest of these easy, but fun sports, and is a great way to keep fit, by strengthening muscles and improving balance. At Sailing Du Lac you will be able to learn to paddle in the hands of qualified instructors and after your very first lesson, you will be readyto go it alone.

Here, throughout the entire season, the quest for adventure, both educational and recreational, continues every day from Monday to Saturday, ranging from handicrafts to outdoor fun, workshops to stimulate the children’s imagination and creativity, and treasure hunts…. Then there is face-painting, as well as art competitions, baby dance, and so much more! And to make it even more entertaining, each season carries a fairy tale theme: this year it is “Alice in Wonderland.” So don’t be surprised if you bump into the Mad-hatter running around with his watch in hand or a real live Alice, who can’t wait to tell her stories to a group of rapt children. A touch of magic is never a bad thing: the team, headed up by Claudia Cigalotti, has all sorts in store for you, from croquet tournaments, non-Birthday parties, dinners with the Mad-hatter and many other wonders.

And you’re in the right place if you want to climb to dizzy heights. Nearby Arco is a free-climbing mecca and home of the Rockmaster. As a matter of fact, our entire area is packed with cliffs offering varying levels of challenge. At San Martino di Arco, close to the famous Policromuro mountain-face, the first Family cliff was recently inaugurated, ranging from three to six in terms of difficulty.

CLIMBINGIf you’re a lover of mountain excursions, then you’ll be spoilt for choice. As well as the nearby mountain chalets of Altissimo, Pernici and S.Pietro, we recommend hiking amongst the forts of Monte Brione or the newly opened walk from Busatte to Tempesta (the place which marked the Italian border at the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire). You will find both of these at a stone’s throw from the Grand Resort.

With our latest, attractive addition, the Molo44 Lounge Bar & Bistrot, facing out onto the splendid park, alongside the Restaurant Du Parc and La Capannina Pizza & Grill, Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort is able to offer guests a wide choice, ranging from simple snacks to gourmet delicacies. The informal atmosphere of the Capannina Pizza & Grill is ideal for those who opt to spend their days in the pool or on the beach, and also for a bite to eat after a cycle ride or a sporty morning out sailing or wind-surfing. It is set in the heart of the park and offers cold dishes, salads, pasta, grilled meat and fish, as well as simple snacks, club sandwiches and a wide selection of pizzas, made with organic flour, proved for 72 hours then topped with quality mozzarella. If it’s a more intimate setting you’re after, then the charming private Gazebo is available on request for a romantic dinner or small private gatherings, with live cooking by the chef and the impeccable service of a personal butler.

The food and wine heritage of the area, with its wealth of fresh, genuine products, is artfully transformed into a culinary delight for the palate.

Agraria, the well-established Upper Garda company, leads the wine and olive oil sector with its excellent products, where classic culture combines with a strong territorial focus. Both the “Cantina” (cellar) and “Frantoio”, or mill, apply technology to tradition to produce wines and precious extra virgin olive oils. The cooperative, founded in 1926, is made up of some 360 members and promotes local agricultural production – from harvesting through to processing – selling directly from its own store. This ensures the shortest possible chain from producer to consumer, and the Agraria store offers the very finest, locally-sourced, typical Trentino products. (www.agririva.it)

A taster...from the Chef

When you ask him to describe one of his “speciality dishes” he smiles:

The “dish of the day” is whatever the market offers. I am always happy to be able to say to my guests: “today I have cooked for you...” – a bit like a mother who conjures up a meal from whatever happens to be in the fridge – and I like to be able to offer menu variations. In my fridge there might be a classic trout, the roe of which was the source of great interest and appreciation this year, as well as prized salt-water fish, such as “ombrina” and sea-bass, real delights such as the soft shell crabs from the Venetian lagoon, known as “moleche” and beef raised in the valleys of our region. It all starts from the menu, but each individual dish is a surprise, inspired by seasonality and my desire to spoil our guests. What makes the difference isn’t so much the technique involved, but that little touch which makes it unusual or special.

From these few words, the fundamental ideas behind Chef Brink’s work are immediately apparent:

The concept is simple: what really counts is pleasing the client, not satisfying the chef’s ego. Simply by listening we can come up with different, personalised ideas or new and imaginative ways of looking at old favourites, such as one of our classics, salt beef, which can be served as tartar, in thin slivers or shredded, but obviously always showcasing local core ingredients, from the organic vegetables of the Gresta Valley to asparagus from Zambana, broccoli from Torbole and local red fruits and herbs.

This year we’ve paid special attention to breakfast:

Given that it is the most important meal of the day, our grand gourmet breakfast aims to meet the requirements of all our guests, with our organically certified buffet, where today, more than ever, special consideration is given to vegetarian, vegan and celiac diets: fresh produce; local, organic, seasonal fruit; sliced cold meats and eggs cooked to order; fresh fruit juices and a wide selection of cheeses are just some of the specialities a guest can choose from to start the day off.

And not forgetting our gourmet events. High level training days of cooking with special guest, Stefano Caffarri, chef and director of the Silver Spoon and star, alongside Brink, of our show-cooking evenings on the Veranda of the Resort:

It’s a way for the guest to get involved in the world of cooking, satisfying his or her curiosity and dispelling certain myths, such as that of the serious, snobby chef. Stefano and I cook together like two old friends at the stove, who have never lost sight of the first rule if you want to be a good cook: never stop having fun.

A JOURNEY THROUGHA GALLERY OF NATURAL,ARTISTIC AND“SPARKLING”MASTERPIECES

The journey starts in the vineyards where the famous grapes for Ferrari Trentodoc’s sparkling wines are grown: the surroundings of Villa Margon, the most beautiful extra moenia villa in the Alps and a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. The villa is located in a park that is a masterpiece in itself, one created by nature.Villa Margon is a special place where a surprise awaits you around every corner, both inside and outside the villa. Its walls are covered with frescoes and among its magnificent rooms, the most notable is undoubtedly the one where Charles V stayed during the Council of Trento. The journey offers the chance to taste the very best of local cuisine thanks to the “Ferrari bubbles menu,” a meal served at Locanda Margon by a chef who channels all the love and respect that he has for Trentino and its traditions in his dishes, in an innovative and exciting way.By looking at past traditions, these dishes mix the cuisine of aristocrats and farmers, reflecting their principles and persona. The Locanda bears the same name as the villa for a simple reason: Locanda Margon is a location that sits proudly amongst the large green spaces surrounding Villa Margon and the vineyards where the magic of the bubbles of Ferrari Trentodoc is cultivated. With a seating capacity of 50, where careful attention is always paid to its guests, Locanda Margon offers an elegant vantage point located on the hillsides around Trento from which to admire the Adige valley. The journey comes to its climax with a visit to the Ferrari Winery, a true monument representing the production of sparkling wines of outstanding quality. Paying a visit to the winery first of all involves taking a look at the masterpieces that decorate the Ferrari headquarters, with the sculptures of Arnaldo Pomodoro and Umberto Mastroianni, as well as an elegant collection of pop art bottles. After taking the stairs that lead to the cellars, where more than 20 million bottles are stored until they reach the correct level of ageing, you will be able to watch the shadow-play of the bubbles imprisoned in the bottles, which paint extraordinary frescoes on the walls of the underground cellar. All this provides a perfect journey through the history of the Italian Classic Method production, but also into the future, because innovation and advanced technology are always at the core of Ferrari’s thinking.(www.ferraritrento.it)

If you are looking for an entertaining experience featuring the best that art, nature and cuisine can offer, you should try the fabulous journey called the “Tour of the Beautiful and Delicious,” where you can immerse yourself in all the good and beautiful things that Trentino has to offer.

As you approach the town by boat, your gaze is immediately drawn to the old Apponale tower, and “l’anzolìm,” the symbol of the town, which towers above the port, 3rd November Square, the Pretorio Palace and the 14th century Municipal Building.Another feature of Riva del Garda is the grey stone Bastione, which looks down over the town and lake. Built at the beginning of the 16th century, then later destroyed in 1703 by General Vendôme’s French troops, it can be reached by means of a path that climbs up two hundred meters. From here a rather more impervious path will lead you to the church of Saint Barbara and the highest peaks of the Rocchetta. Once inside the old town centre, accessed via one of the oldest town gates, Porta Bruciata, you will come across the archway connecting 3rd November Square with Saint Rocco Square. Porta San Marco, of medieval origin, was re-built by the Venetians in the second half of the 15th century and later restored in 1536 by the bishop, Bernardo Clesio, while Porta San Michele was re-built in the mid eighteen hundreds according to instructions given

by Luigi Antonio Baruffaldi. The town is full of little squares and churches, one of these being the Inviolata Church, built in baroque style in 1603 and based on a design by an unknown Portuguese architect. You will chance upon charming little corners as you wander through Riva, testimony to an ancient love of art and architecture. The Rocca of Riva dates back to 1124 and is a rare example of medieval fortification within the town, and today is home to the Civic Museum. Its present appearance can be attributed to the Scaligeri who, around the middle of the thirteen hundreds, converted it into a four-sided fort surrounded by water. Riva has a special charm all of its own that couldn’t have failed to attract numerous writers, poets and authors, who often used to visit Lake Garda. Amongst these was Franz Kafka, who found an unexpected love here, the brothers Thomas and Heinrich Mann and the poet Rainer Maria Rilke, illustrious characters from austere central Europe, whose atmosphere has never been lost in a town which, today, has become above all a holiday destination.

RIVADELGARDA

Embraced by the surrounding mountains, Riva del Garda is a charming little town, nestling between the shores of Lake Garda and the Alpine foothills.

The view from the castle across the surrounding valley is, to say the least, stunning, and has remained unchanged from the view you can see in the famous watercolour painted by Albrecht Dürer in 1495 and now on display at the Louvre. Feuds continued within the family of the Counts of Arco for several centuries. Within the castle there is a series of frescoes from the 13th century dedicated to amor cortese and anyone visiting the castle can enjoy a splendid walk amongst the olive trees. The name Arco comes from the arched formation of dwellings in the old town that are built around the castle hill, and Arco was the birthplace of a number of well-known characters, such as the aeronautical engineer, Gianni Caproni and the painter Giovanni Segantini. These days however, the name Arco has become synonymous with free climbing. In the eighties, modern free-climbing first took off, thanks to famous climbers like Manolo, Heinz Mariacher, Roberto Bassi and Luisa Iovane, opening up the many historic natural cliffs that can be found in the area. Every year, in the month of September, the town of Arco hosts the international free-climbing sports competition, called the Rock Master, which attracts the very best athletes from all over the world.

ArcoAs you wander around, admiring the little town of Arco, you cannot fail to look up and see the castle perched on a rock high above, protecting it.

Amongst the most beautiful villages of Italy, Tenno and Canale are two typical, ancient villages dating back to the twelve hundreds, in a rural setting and surrounded by imposing mountains. Nearby is one of the Trentino regions most amazing lakes, that of Tenno, with its splendid turquoise water. Canale is an unspoilt Medieval gem, with narrow, cobbled alleyways, tiny courtyards, higgledy-piggledy houses and archways. Every year, they organise an event called “Rustico Medioevo,” which attempts to recapture the culture, history and folklore of this medieval village by means of a popular historical re-enactment conjuring up the atmosphere of past times.

Just 15 km away from Lake Garda, despite the typical mountain landscape, Dro and Drena enjoy a mild, Mediterranean climate, thanks to the nearby lake. The dense, ancient chestnut woods of Drena suddenly open up at the foot of the castle. Drena Castle dates back to the 12th century and dominates the Sarca Valley and the Marocche, which is an area scattered with huge chunks of rock of the most enormous dimensions, caused by vast landslides resulting from the glaciation that took place between 100 – 200 thousand years ago.

Every summer a festival takes place in Dro which is one of a kind and is called Drodesera. In the setting of the ex-hydro-electric plant of Fies, you can enjoy a programme of the very best in avant-garde live art, where artists from all over the world come together at the end of July to give performances of dance, theatre and the performing arts.

NagoTorbole“With what burning desiredo I wish for my friendsto be here for a whilewith me, to be able torejoice in the viewthat surrounds me!”

Thus wrote Goethe in his little notebook when he stayed in Torbole during his travels through Italy, captured by the charmsof the place.

The fascinating little village with its tiny port, Customs House and narrow, lively little streets is a well-known and well-visited mecca for lovers of sailing and windsurfing. At one time, the port handled goods coming from the “Padana plain” destined for the Adige valley, by means of the ancient road that winds through the valley of Saint Lucia. Here, the “Belvedere di Torbole” is one of the most picturesque spots on the whole lake, and was the scene of a historic event. In 1439, the Venetian Republic, wanting to surprise the Duke of Milan’s fleet which commanded the southern part of the lake, put in place a major feat of military engineering which lasted several days: 25 large boats, 2 galleys and 6 frigates sailed up the Adige river almost as far as Rovereto, through the mountains and on to Lake Loppio, across the San Giovanni pass, from where they reached Torbole. This naval battle, featured in a painting by Tintoretto which can be seen at the “Palazzo Ducale” in Venice, didn’t have the desired outcome for the Republic, and they had to wait until the following year before they were able to defeat the Visconti fleet and take control of Lake Garda. Amongst the gems that Torbole has to offer is the tiny 18th century church of Sant’Andrea, built on the site of an ancient Romanesque church. There is a breath-taking view across the lake from here, as unforgettable as the one that can be enjoyed from the nearby Castel Penede in Nago. The history of this particular castle sees a series of battles for its possession amongst the most powerful lords of the area at that time. At the time of the Castelbarco domain, Dante Alighieri, in exile from his hometown of Florence, was their guest and the wonderful view of the lake inspired him to write the famous verses of the Canto XX in his famous Inferno: “Above in beauteous Italy lies a lakeat the Alp’s foot where Germany is closed off beyond the Tyrol, and has the name Benaco. By a thousand springs, I think, and more, Mount Apennino is bathed ’twixt Garda and Val Camonica, by the water that settles in the lake.”

Mart

Not far from Du Lacet Du Parc Grand Resortis the city of Rovereto, known for being the homeof Mart, the Museum of Modernand Contemporary Artof Trento and Rovereto.

Constructed in 2002, the building that houses the museum was designed by the famous architect from Ticino, Mario Botta and local Rovereto engineer, Giulio Andreolli, who together created an architectural complex inspired by both classical models and the most avant-garde technical and engineering principles. Mart’s permanent collection contains over 15,000 works including paintings, designs, etchings and sculptures devoting special attention to the avant-garde works of the nineteen hundreds. The Depero Futurist House of Art in Rovereto, where the major works of futurist artist Fortunato Depero can be seen, also forms part of Mart, as does the Civic Gallery in Trento.

From December 2015, Mart’s greatest masterpieces, from Medardo Rosso to artists from more recent generations, ranging from Felice Casorati, Giorgio de Chirico, Fortunato Depero, Fausto Melotti and Alberto Burri, Lucio Fontana, Mario Merz and Bruce Nauman, will be placed on show to the public in a new, chronological and thematic display designed by the new director, Gianfranco Maraniello. The display “Le Collezioni” will permanently occupy two of the four galleries of the museum, where Mart’s most significant works will be shown ona rotation basis. On the first floor, the exhibits tell the story of The invention of modern, whilst on the second floor the visitor is guided through Contemporary Emergence. Following on, in turn, will be a thematic and monographic focus, aimed at deepening the roots of contemporary Italian art, historical movements and new international emerging art.

With narratives built around the masterpieces on display at Mart, the museum’s identity clearly demonstrates a strong international vocation, whilst being increasingly linked to its history, its territory and its own heritage.

In the realm of science and unique for its futuristic character, MUSE, the Science Museum of Trento, designed by internationally renowned architect Renzo Piano, presents an exhibition that uses the metaphor of the mountain to tell about life on earth, ranging from elements of the sun and ice, to the issues of biodiversity, sustainability and evolution, to the fantastic tropical greenhouse. The museum is a veritable hub of learningfor all ages, with classrooms, teaching laboratories and research spaces.A must for all children from 5 to 12 years of age is the initiative “Night at the Museum”: when the lights go out and the museum is empty, its rooms come alive and open to the exploration by children, who can participate for an entire nightin laboratory activities, science shows, treasure hunts and then fall asleep between prehistoric ancestors.

Romantic Verona is the ultimate town for lovers, made famous all over the world by William Shakespeare, who chose it as the setting for his most famous work, the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. He also mentions it in two other works, The two gentlemen of Verona and The taming of the shrew. Juliet’s house, with its famous balcony, is still one of the major attractions of Verona, a city packed with artistic and architectural beauty. Verona has been declared a Unesco site for its urban structure and architecture, and is a splendid example of a city that, despite its continuous development, has managed to successfully merge its artistic elements from various historic periods and influences: from the Roman settlement, the communal age, the period of the Veronese Lords right up to the Venetian

and Habsburg dominations, preservinga considerable number of ancient monuments from medieval and renaissance times. Verona is a city of art and culture and for decades now has been hosting the prestigious opera season each Summer at the Arena, the roman amphitheatre which is the symbol of the city. The 2016 season will open on 24th June with Bizet’s Carmen directed by Franco Zeffirelli and will continue until 28th August with performances of Aida, Traviata andIl Trovatore by Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot.

MSF is currently operational in over 70 countries, mainly in Africa, South America and Asia. Volunteers are at the forefront in fighting such deadly enemies (such as Ebola, HIV or malaria) and to provide all appropriate assistance to refugees and displaced persons fleeing due to the problems of a socio-economic nature. The efforts and sacrifices of the organization have been recognized in 1999, when MSF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, a testament to their hard work over the past 40 years.

For many years now, Riva del Garda has hosted scientific and international business events of considerable importance, one example being Expo Riva Schuh, the international footwear tradeshow, which has been held here for 43 years and has reached its 85th edition. But the Congress Centre also hosts numerous scientific and medical congresses and company meetings. The spacious centre is situated right onthe shores of Lake Garda, with 14 conference rooms, the largest of whichhas 900 seats, as well as the multi-purpose

2“Pala-Meeting”, covering 2.700 m able to hold up 1,800 people, making it ideal for gala dinners, displays, shows and much more besides. The beauty surrounding the Congress Centre and the quality of accommodation in the area, make Riva del Garda an ideal location for prestigious companies and scientific associations looking for a place to hold their events. In 2016, a further multi-purpose building will be constructed on the lake front, called “Pala Vela,” perfect for hosting large-scale events. In 2017 it will take the place of Pala-Meeting, just part of the innovative development towards the future that will include the construction of a brand new Congress Centre, with an additional 1.200 seat room, a 600 seat theatre anda 2.000 multi-functional area. The project, with its avant-garde architecture, will alter the current appearance. An underground car park and spacious new public areas will make it even more accessible for the nearby town centre. Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, the company which manages the congress centre, works with maximum respect for the environment and extraordinary surroundings. In 2012 it was awarded an environmental certificate and then, in 2014, the important ISO 20121, which oversees the sustainable management of events by monitoring the environmental, social and economic impact linked to the activities carried out and services offered, paying special attention to resource control, waste management and all related matters, from stand-building to catering and transport. If we were to sum up the three main reasons for organising an event in Riva del Garda, they would be: respect for the amazing environment we live in; experience and quality of service, which guarantee efficiency, and the centre’s size and flexibility, able to host all kinds of events. And the new buildings will enhance this even further.

The basis of our daily work is based entirely upon giving true value to people. Everything we think about and do is aimed at the well-being of our guests, to whom we dedicate every possible effort that we can. But, through our work, we would also like to make a contribution to the global community to which we belong. And we wish to do that by continuing to do what we love: offering hospitality with the same passion and determination that we always have. And we do that, in part, thanks to the special relationship we have with “Doctors without Frontiers.” Ever since we joined the “5 star solidarity” initiative, we have believed in the project and have taken on board its philosophy. For over a year now, for every booking we receive via our website, we donate a contribution to support the activities of Doctors without Frontiers. We convert the holiday booking at Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort into a gesture of solidarity, which seems to us to be the most responsible way in which to honour our commitment and also make our guests a part of it.

So why did we choose Doctors without Frontiers? Because at the heart of the organisation is the determination to save human lives and provide emergency medical assistance. Doctors without Frontiers intervenes to provide populations with urgent health care, both in case of emergencies and also in critical situations where no aid is available.

2015 has been a tragic year scarred by numerous wars: of course we can’t stop them, but at least we can contribute by relieving some of the pain of the poorest populations and of immigrants attempting to escape from hatred, violence and desperation. Every vaccination, every ration of therapeutic food, every litre of drinking water that, thanks to our contribution, we are able to give, is a grand and valuable gesture, an important contribution, for which we thank you.

5 STAR SOLIDARITY

DOCTORSWITHOUTBORDERS
