Suppliers (ASPASA members) make use of exclusion clauses due to the thorough understanding of material behavior.
Client in conjunction with the consultant make use of Colto and onerous contract specifications.
Contractor is left between a rock and a hard place.
How do we solve this problem?

21.04.23/PZResolution feedback to RPF
RPF – May 2006
Outcome
Positive about the use of only SANS specifications, with input from all sectors.
There is a need for a industry workshop on compaction, based on practical skills (Not a theoretical workshop).
Suppliers will be invited to attend all future SAFSEC conferences.
We need to incorporate key players in the industry, and request any assistance.
This group must work towards solving problems, prior to publication of any specification.
This workgroup must represent the majority off the industry.
