Resistance Welding Fundamentals and Applications

I am very happy to find that the second edition of this book gets published. While the first version was a breath of fresh air, the new version is more systematic and comprehensive-it not only elaborates the resistance welding theories, such as the basic electrothermal process, metallurgical process, shunting, expulsion, weld discrepancies, influence of mechanical characteristics of welding machine and numerical simulation of resistance spot welding, but also includes the practical problems in resistance spot welding applications, such as weld testing methods, process monitoring and control methods and the statistical design and analysis methods of the weld quality. The most exciting aspect in the new version is that the authors included their recent research fruits in welding aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys. Moreover, all the figures and tables are well prepared to get the best display, and many are in color print. I really like this new edition.
