The active surrounding retail encourages a place for people to rest or gather when crossing the street. Price Hill Library The Price Hill Library is a highly used resource for the community. Situated on top of a slight hill, the maintained historic building is a strong attractor to the district. A Creative Place Making intervention could build upon the exiting use to provide more flexible and functional spaces for the variety of existing users. Mixer Pixel Central Park Located at the center of the Price Hill Business district, this park provides the ideal opportunity to introduce green space into an otherwise urban corridor. However, the neighboring power station is visually deterring and decreases use. A Creative Place Making intervention could both activate that park by masking the inhibiting power station as well as provide a means to attract users. Scaffolding Price Hill Ex- White Castle The former location of Price Hill White Castle , this site is elevated from the street scape and in close proximity to a highly used gas station. While it is currently vacant, this site provides an ideal opportunity for a Creative Place Making intervention that spurs development or reuse of the surrounding sites.
