Student Activities at Walnut Hill College

Get active! This campus is alive!

Wait until you see our student activities opportunities. This campus is alive! Each week, there

are up to 15 activities for you to participate in. There are 26 student organizations.

Each day we feature the “Student Success Hour” from 11:00 AM to 12 noon. There are no

classes scheduled during this hour. It’s the perfect time to enjoy lunch, meet with our Success

Coordinators and enjoy student activities. The best part… nearly all activities are FREE!

You will also be able to participate in field trips to Chinatown, NYC, Washington DC,

Lancaster County and much more. And how about a Spring Break trip to Disneyworld or a

summer trip to Italy! Start saving now!

Our Student Life and Learning Program requires you to earn 5 points each 10-week term. In

essence, for each activity you participate in you will earn a point. Community service events

earn you 2 to 3 points. Longer activities such as a day-long field experience will earn you 3

points. Earning 5 points every 10 weeks is easy. Many students earn 10, 15 or more points.

The next few months are jam-packed. Even Labor Day weekend is filled with movies, comfort

food dinner, campfires, a Delaware River trip, Stromboli, a BBQ, ice cream sundaes and much

more.

Commit to staying on campus for the first three weeks. Statistics prove; those that stay on

campus stay focused and succeed. Your family and high school friends will always be there for

you. Take this time to invest in this exciting new phase of your life.

Here is just a quick sampling of what is planned for the coming weeks. But remember, this is a

list of activities sponsored by the Office of Student Life. Once all of the 26 student organizations

post their activities you will see this list double!
