The first stage was to build aprimary school for 600+children, the second to buildan adjacent junior high schooland the third, ongoing, isstocking a library to be sharedby both schools and thecommunity. In addition,through fundraising efforts weprovide scholarships for over50 children each year whootherwise would be deniededucation.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
We offer a professional and friendly‘Meet and Greet’ service.
Once you have collected your luggageyou will come out of the Customs Halland see one of our airport represent-atives holding a Discovery Summer signwith your name. Coaches / taxis leave atregular intervals to take you to your centre.
On departure, we check you onto yourflight and see you through todepartures.
Airport transfers by coach or taxi areincluded in the fees on publishedarrival and departure dates for flightsarriving/departing between 09.00 and15.00 hours from/to specific airports(see fees sheet for details).
Special private transfers (at extra cost)can be arranged at any other time andfrom any other airport.

ENGLISH SKILLS
On arrival you will be tested, gradedand placed in a class at the appropriatelevel. Our syllabus is based on theTrinity Exam in Spoken English/CEFR.
Our communicative classes help youimprove your grammar, vocabulary,reading, writing and listening skills,with an emphasis on improvingconfidence in spoken English. Task-based learning and themed weeksenhance fluency.
Before excursions you’ll research yourdestinations in class to get the mostout of your trips.
Our maximum class size is 12*international students. English children(Student Hosts) also participate in mostclasses.
Each week you’ll have a learner reviewto help you and your teacher trackyour progress.
At the end of the course, you’ll takehome your student folder withexamples of your work, a DiscoverySummer Certificate, end-of-coursereport and course photo.
*In exceptional circumstances, wherelevels dictate, this may be marginallyexceeded.
TRINITY EXAM INSPOKEN ENGLISH
This is optional and offered at extracost (£80). This oral exam has 12 levels(NB it is not suitable for very younglearners at advanced levelse.g. C1/2). Your class teacherwill decide which level youwill take. Exams take placesubject to sufficient demand.
We recommend you take thisexam to gain an internation-ally recognised certificate. Itwill also give real focus toyour English studies.
Preparation classes areprovided for one weekbefore the exam in theplace of English Skills classes. Each yearour students achieve excellent results.
ENGLISH WORKSHOPS
These “English in Action” sessionsencourage students to learn anddevelop through doing. You’ll learnnew vocabulary and workcollaboratively in pairs or small groups.Every week you choose a differentworkshop eg All Things British, ForensicScience, Junior Chef, Recycled Art,Newsletter, Computer Magic, UnitedNations and Discovery TV.

RADLEY COLLEGERadley College, one of Britain’s leading independentschools, was founded in 1847. It is situated in Radleyvillage, 8 km south of Oxford, 3 km north of Abingdonand just over an hour by road or rail from London. The nearest airport is London Heathrow.
The campus, set in 325 hectares ofparkland, is welcoming andcompletely self-contained. Thefacilities for study and recreationare absolutely first-rate. Woldingham School is situated in a beautiful, secluded valleyof 320 hectares in Surrey, near Oxted. It is only 25 km fromLondon and close to the M25 motorway. Gatwick is under 30minutes away and Heathrow 45 minutes away. Direct trainsfrom London Victoria to Woldingham station take 30 minutes.

Football (all levels – boys only) – on site.Programme designed by Premier League, UEFAqualified coach. Training is adapted fordifferent levels and includes fitness, individualskills, drills and tactics. Regular matches againstlocal English teams are arranged. Elite players may get theopportunity to trial with a Premier League team.
Tennis (all levels) – on site. Our coacheswork with small groups at different levels onall aspects of the game - tactical, technical(with the opportunity for video analysis),physical and mental. Tournament day at the end of each week.
Golf (all levels) – off site. Thisprogramme is run at the nearbyShrewsbury Golf Course. Instruction isgiven by professionals on the covereddriving range, the pitching/putting greens and on the 3, 9and 18-hole golf courses. All aspects of the game arecovered.
Dance (all levels) – on site. This exciting course, led by fully
trained dance professionals,includes musical theatre, salsa, hip hop,jazz and contemporary routines. Different
genres are introduced each day, leading to acostumed performance at the end of each week.
Horse-riding (all levels) – off site. The excellent Equestrian Centre offers a
challenging programme to riders of allabilities. All aspects of horse management are
covered. Manège work is designed to help you gainconfidence in handling your horse in a variety of situations
eg hacking, jumping, dressage and cross-country.
Adventure Sports (all levels) - on and offsite. Activities include quad-biking, mountainboarding, Segway riding, abseiling and highropes, canoeing, archery and target shooting. Once a weekwe offer e.g team-building challenges, tag rugby, hockey. Each morning you try different activities.

COLLINGHAM - KensingtonClasses are held in one building in Kensington so thatparents, teenagers and children can share and enjoy alanguage learning experience together. Many familiescome back year after year.
The College is an impressive building on six floors, 5minutes’ walk from Gloucester Road and Earl’s CourtUnderground Stations. It is in a safe, residential area.
Adults, teenagers and children have separate classeseither from 09.00 – 12.30h or from 13.30 – 17.00h,Monday to Friday. It is not possible to study bothmornings and afternoons.
Parents who are not studying with us will accompanytheir children to the college and collect them after class.
Adult courses
• A needs analysis is carried out before the course
• Classes are small (maximum 9 students) and cover all skills,with emphasis on spoken communication
• Focus on real world day-to-day topics. Classes are lively and fun

Students arrive 09.00h and are collected at 17.00h.
A tasty, fresh lunch (eg baguettes, fruit, cereal bar/brownie,drink) is included in the fees.
Afternoon activities, led in English, include arts and crafts,music and song, drama, games, trips to the nearby park-as appropriate to the age group.
MARYMOUNT - Kensington pick up/drop offThis programme takes place at Marymount InternationalSchool in Kingston-upon-Thames. It is ideal for thosechildren who are ready to gain a little more independence.They live with their families in London and take fulladvantage of the excellent facilities of our residentialcentre.
A private coach, accompanied by our staff, collectschildren from a pick up/drop off point near GloucesterRoad Underground Station promptly at 08.30h andreturns by 18.00h, Monday to Friday. The school is 12kmfrom Kensington and the journey takes just over 30minutes.
Day students are integrated with the residential studentsfor all classes and workshops (maximum 12 students),lunch, afternoon activities and the half day excursion onWednesday afternoons. They do not join any activities inthe evenings or on Saturdays and Sundays.
Some children start on the day course, and then join theresidential programme for their last week/s.
