Date: Thursday, Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. Where: Second Floor Card Room Wear your favorite costume, prizes will be given. If you need a costume to wear, come pick one out anytime Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday in the club house. Join us on the day of the event at 1 p.m. in the third floor dining room to decorate a witch’s hat. Resident of the Month Meet Marion White, September Resident of the Month. If you don’t already know her, you have probably seen her around campus. She can be seen at Bingo, working out in the Fitness Center, and actively participating in Glenbrooke’s Red Hats Group, of which she is a faithful member. Marion also facilitates the Sit ‘n’ Fit exercise activity which is held in the clubhouse, Mondays and Wednesdays. Marion also keeps busy behind the scenes, assisting the Activities Department as their much-needed editor/proofreader. So, next time you see Marion, congratulate her for being recognized for her many contributions to the Glenbrooke community and, while you’re at it, ask her about Sit ‘n’ Fit and the Red Hats Group. She’ll be happy to explain to you how fun and “good for you” these activities are! Team Member of the Month Congratulations to Carlos Campoverde, September Team Member of the Month. Carlos is known to go above and beyond when providing care and aid to Glenbrooke’s Assisted Living residents. His supervisor describes Carlos as “prompt, kind, compassionate, and always willing to help out.” Residents report that Carlos makes them feel safe, secure, and special; all the while with an upbeat attitude and dazzling smile. With such attributes, is it any wonder Carlos is being recognized as Team Member of the Month? Congratulations again, Carlos, and thanks for your hard work and for providing the residents with the type of care they most assuredly all deserve!
