Completed in 2012, South is Queens newest residenal community. Sing on top of a five level parking deck, residents of South can see the Charloe skyline over the tree lined Myers Park neighborhood. South Hall is a coed building featuring two types of suites. Double suites have two rooms with two students in each, while Single suites have four rooms with one student in each. Both styles feature a common space perfect for watching television, eang dinner, or just hanging out. The hall houses approximately 180 upperclassmen residents. An Assistant Director oversees residenal operaons and supervises six Resident Assistants. 2015-2016 Resident Assistants Kelly Henderson, South 603A Hey guys! My name is Kelly Henderson and I am from Canal Winchester, Ohio. It's a small city (we used to be a village) outside of Columbus. I am a junior this year and an Allied Health major. I chose Queens University because of its small town feel and close knit community. I loved that when I visited they remembered my name; I felt like I maered walking off campus. I am a RA in South. Fun facts about me: I am a bit of a cliché as I love reading poetry and sing seaside; I am a caffeine addict - I have a nightshirt that says "I need coffee" and I highly advise against talking to me unl I have some in my system; I hate feet - they're just gross. My name is Will Roberson and I am a RA for the sixth floor of Byrum Hall. I am a Junior here at Queens and I am majoring in Sport Management. I am originally from Charloe and I came to Queens to play tennis as well as to enjoy the small school envi- ronment in the great city of Charloe. Some fun facts about me are that I enjoy hanging out with my friends and I love to play all types of sports. I love the outdoors and like to hike, camp, and go whitewater raſting and kayaking. I chose Queens for the size and the community, and the people here connue to be my favorite thing about this school. I’m a teaching fellow as well as a part of CJB, and this is my first year as an RA. I spent my enre summer at a youth camp on Crowder’s Mountain, where I’ve mainly smelled (and looked?) like a middle school boy. I like coffee, pretending to know how to workout, and my dog Sadie. My interesng fact on the first day of classes will be that I went to midget wrestling this summer. I like instagram and twier a lot, so that’s where to find me @ alexrandya.
