A. Go to the Hawaii Health Science Library Website: http://www.hawaii.edu/hslib/ B. OR go to www.google.com and search “Hawaii Health Science Library”

Step 2: Once at the Hawaii Health Sciences Library, click “More Databases” in the right hand column.

Step 3: Scroll down to the “S” section. Click “Science Citation Index Expanded.” Step 4: This will take you to the UHM Library page. Click on “Science Citation Index Expanded” under “Search Electronic Resources.”

Step 5: You will be asked to login using your Hawaii.edu username and password.

A. Click “Login through the UH Web Login Service” B. Type in your UH Username and UH Password

A. Click “All Databases” tab. B. Type in quotes “Last name, First name” on the Author section. ie, “Guerrero, Anthony” C. Click the “search” bubble.

Step 2: Here you will find list of your publications. At the bottom of each article, you will see the words “Times Cited x.”

A. Click the number of cited, which will take you to a list of articles that cited yours. Ie, 5. B. List articles that cited your article

A. Click “Additional Resources” tab B. Click the “Journal Citation Reports” link.

Step 2: Journal Citation Reports page.

A. Under the column “Select a JCR edition and year,” are two types. One, “JCR Science Edition” and two, “JCR Social Sciences Edition.” You may choose either one, but you may have to go to both.

B. Under the column “Select an option,” select “Search for a specific journal.” C. Click the “submit” bubble.

Step 3: Search for Journal. Click “view list of full journal titles.” Step 4: Search for your Journal. For example, “American Journal of Psychiatry.” Once you’ve found your title, highlight it. Right click on your mouse and select “copy.” Step 5: Right click into the search section of the “Journal Citation Reports” page (see step 3) and click “paste.”

Step 6: Click “search” Step 7: This page shows the Impact Factor.

Part IV: Alternative methods. Step 1: go to www. Google.com Step 2: Type in your last and first name in quotes in the search section. Ie, “Guerrero, Anthony” Step 3: Click Search Step 4: The search result will pull up all the “hits” for your name. Sift through the number of found pages for your relevant articles.

Note, Sometimes this search might find an international journal citing your article.
