2. Set the stage for the experiment

5. State your hypothesis clearly
Materials and Methods/Procedures
1. Summarize procedure and materials used
2. Make it clear enough for someone else to duplicate your experiment
3. Smallest portion of paper
4. No results stated here!
Results
1. Describe the results of the experiment
2. Explain the results without interpreting your findings
3. Figures and tables may be used here
Discussion/Conclusion
1. Interpret results of experiment and draw a conclusion
2. Evaluate your findings of the experiment
