As I have analyzed some music video DVD covers, I have found these things common in most or all DVD covers: The name of the singer is either written in the center or it is made large and noticeable so that it is eye catching for the buyer. Every DVD cover has a barcode usually on its back cover. The picture of the singer is on the front, back and the spine of the DVD cover to make the cover more prominent. The front picture is usually a full shot or a mid long shot of the singer. There is a DVD logo { } on every DVD cover.

11. There is not a lot of text on the front cover so that it is easy to read. There is a table of PG ratings, production studios, and other caution logos on the back cover bottom. The spine usually has the DVD logo, the name of the singer, the name of the album and the picture of the singer on it. The front cover is usually more attractive and brighter than the back cover to make it more prominent for the viewer.
