BOOKS

Grenier, C., & Laborel, B. (2011). Les MDPH – Une organisation innovante dans le champ médico-social. Toulouse: Erès.

The MDPHs (“Departmental Organisations for Disabled People”) were created by law on February 11, 2005 "for the equal rights and opportunities for participation and citizenship of disabled people.” These changes, in terms of new governance and professional practices, must be examined in order to improve the way MDPHs function. From this perspective, the authors of this book propose a way of interpreting these innovative structures through their different functions: societal (understanding the place of the disabled person in society), policy (how and with whom decisions are to be taken) and managerial (what tools should be used to work together).

Bayle, E., Chappelet, J.L., Franςois, A., & Maltese, L. (2011) Sport & RSE,

Vers un Management Responsable ? Brussels: De Boeck.

The fundamental principles of sustainable development are included in the genetic code of sport. Indeed, sport has become an industry vital to the lives of our territories and to society through activities, attractions and events. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is the application of sustainable development in business and beyond. This approach is emerging in major sports’ organizations (federations, professional sports clubs, major sporting events) and, paradoxically, sports organisations sometimes struggle to integrate this new managerial approach in their projects, management processes and in the assessment practices of their performance.
