TARGET AUDIENCES

THIS is a singer from the

band, ‘SLEEP PARTY

PEOPLE’, this band gave me

permission to use their music in

my music video.

GENRE: There genre of music is very unique. It is almost

psychological as it is mesmerizing and puts you in

a daze when you listen to the music. The singing is

very high pitched and eary, and the music is very

slow but has a beat to it which can be considered

as fast.

GORILLAZ IN TERMS OF MUSIC similar

artists would be MGMT, Lana Del Ray and

Gorillaz. All these artists have a very unique

and independent style of music which is

used to help audiences recognise the brand.

All artists have a wide brand

reach, the target audience usually

consists of old teens (16+) up to

late 50’s in the aspect of Gorillaz and

MGMT...Lana Del Ray has a more teened

audience.

qualities, this short film

contains shots similar to

shots I want to use in my

music video. Such as the one

left, the point of view

perspective is a great camera

technique which I intend to

use. You can see here how in my trailer I have used the

same technique.

The directors use of ballet

dancing and a ballet dancer

to portray a characters

personality is a similar

narrative in which I have in

my music video.
