We create compelling content on platforms that enhances the way people engage with what they love. That’s at the heart of what we do and what drives us as we shape our portfolio of special interest brands.
Immediate Media Co is an award-winning special interest content and platform company. We are one of the biggest consumer media businesses in the UK and one of the largest magazine media publishers. In May 2015 we were
named Media Company of the Year at the prestigious British Media Awards. World-class content and an innovative culture are our primary objectives. Every month we reach over 16
million highly engaged UK consumers across our 70+ multiplatform brands. To create category-leading brands, we employ 1,100 dedicated and talented staff at our offices in London, Bristol,
Camberley and Manchester. We sell 74 million magazines every year, with well over 1 million active subscribers, and reach 33 million people
online every month. We combine our reputation for editorial quality with an integrated approach to delivering multi-platform content. Our vision for turning special interests into lifelong passions to create valuable brands puts us in a strong position
to build for the future. Immediate is a founding partner of Magnetic, the marketing agency for magazine media in the UK. It exists to help
advertisers get the very best return from the rich engagement opportunities offered by multi-channel magazine brands.

We create technology solutions for a more transparent, efficient and empowering future for rights owners, where artists, songwriters, publishers and labels can trust they will be paid fairly and
accurately, regardless of how complex the digital world becomes. Our innovative technology includes the world's most advanced global licensing, collection and payment platform, our YouTube song
matching tool Proklaim, one of the leading global digital music distribution platforms AWAL, and the award-winning real-time data and insight reporting Portal.
Kobalt Music Publishing, Kobalt Label Services and Kobalt Neighbouring Rights divisions each offer a modern alternative to the traditional music business model, empowering creators with flexible
contracts, ownership, control, and total transparency. We represent over 8,000 artists and songwriters, 600,000 songs and 500 publishing companies, servicing our clients with global licensing management,
works and rights distribution, royalty collection and processing, online data and royalty statements, creative services, synch & brand partnerships, record release management and marketing.
And we're fortunate to work with some of the world's greatest artists and songwriters, representing on average over 40% of the top 100 songs and albums in both the US and UK.

Back in 2007, when we first started drawing up plans for Downtown, the music industry was in transition. With the landscape changing before us, our company developed from trying to solve
two unique problems that had emerged: First, the music publishing industry was in the midst of a wave of unprecedented consolidation,
leaving thousands of songwriters underappreciated and underserviced. That once magical partnership found between a writer and publisher had become a relic of a different era. We
wanted to change that. Second, music publishing had yet to view the industry through the lens of technology. From
copyright management and licensing to royalty collection and song plugging, the industry was largely ignoring new digital opportunities, holding on to a model and mindset that hadn’t evolved
since Frank Sinatra was the songwriter’s best friend.
