EMAP owns leading brands in the magazine industry. Established in 1947, their magazine includes genres such as Retail, Health, Construction, Architecture and Fashion.

Brands at EMAP include Smash Hits(1978-2006), RetailWeek, H&Vnews, NursingTimes.net & Construction News.

Because EMAP’s brands focus on specific industries I would say that EMAP are not a very well-known magazine industry this lead me to believe they are a niche magazine industry.
