Research interest and plan
1) Synthesis of mesoporous catalytic materials (silica, metal oxides and hydroxides) for heterogeneous
catalysis (acid, base, oxidation, dehydrogenation, transfer hydrogenation, borrowing hydrogen/ hydrogen
auto transfer, etc.).
2) Photocatalysis using titania and modified titania semiconductors for photocatalytic degradation of
organic pollutants and photocatalytic organic synthesis.
3) Micellar catalysis using aqueous solution of surfactants for fast and selective organic synthesis in water
under ambient reaction condition.
4) Solvent effect in heterogeneous catalysis: replacement of conventional solvents by greener solvents.
5) Reactants characteristics-reactivity correlation in heterogeneous catalysis.
