Assignment Scenario

You are a new, small but ambitious print production company. You have been asked to research and deconstruct movie posters and how they are used to attract audiences and encourage people to see the films.

You will look at three different genre’s and the codes and conventions of those genre’s and collate research materials that will be useful when you come to making your own poster In your print production assignment.

You will create a questionnaire that investigates audiences, age groups, and the type of films they go to see. And gather the results.

You are going to produce a Research folder

Media production: eg, print production, Format: eg PowerPoint presentation, audio-visual presentation, summary of data and material, eg graphics, charts, tables; analysis; results;conclusions; bibliography of sourcesExpression: structure; clarity; recognition of audience.

Evidence:You will create a questionnaire the questionnaire will include both open and close ended questions.The results of your questionnaires analyzed and presented in either a ‘PowerPoint’ or a written report using graphs to illustrate your findings.
