Terms & Conditions: 1.The competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over except employees and their immediate families of Republic, Blue Door Media, their agents or anyone professionally connected with this competition. 2.The closing date for the receipt of all entries is midnight on 30th November 2011. Entries can only be sent to [email protected]. 3.Only one entry per person. 4.No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, delayed, corrupted, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason. Proof of entering is not proof of receipt. 5.The judges will be looking for a unique entry which shows creativity and fashion fl air and refl ects the Republic brand. The mood board can only include images from the Republic website or blog and your own photos. All entries which exceed the 50 word limit, 10 picture limit or include images from other brands/designers may be disqualifi ed. Mood board title is not included in the word count. All abbreviations and words with apostrophes will count as the full word. 6.Entrants must be the original owner of any photos, or have the necessary permissions to authorise Republic to use the photo submission. If you are not the photographer, you must get the photographer’s permission to submit the photograph; you are also responsible for gaining the consent of the people shown in the photograph. Entrants are responsible for expenses, damages, claims and legal costs arising from failure to obtain these permissions. Entrants and anyone pictured in the photograph must also agree to the publication of their picture on Facebook. No offensive material will be accepted. 7.The mood board should not exceed 5MB. 8.The panel of judges will include one member who is independent of the promoter. 9.The judges will shorlist 5 entries on 7 December. Shortlisted entrants who will be notifi ed by phone by 9 December. All shortlisted entries will be uploaded to the Republic Facebook Page on 11 December for the public vote between 12 and 19 December. The entry which receives the most public votes by midnight 19 December will win. 10.The prize is a trip to a Republic photo shoot in 2012 for the winner only and includes a travel and accommodation budget up to £150, plus a £500 gift card to be spent in Republic. The prize does not include additional expenses or spending money. The prize must be accepted as offered and there is no cash alternative. 11. The winner will be notifi ed by email within 28 days of the closing date. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted within a further 28 days, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to the entry which received the next highest number of votes.12. Judges’ decision is fi nal and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. 13.The winner may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this competition. 14.The winner’s name, county and winning entry will be available 28 days after the closing date, send an SAE to Republic Shoot Competition, Blue Door Media, 20 Upper Ground, London SE1 9PD. 15. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.16.The promoter is Republic 2100 Century Way, Thorpe Park, Leeds, LS15 8ZB.
