    The Report Viewer window appears.

    Report Viewer contains the following fields:

    Main menu contains the File and Help menus. The File menuenables you to open, save, print a report, or exit the application.

    Report field contains the generated report.

    Status area provides processing information.

    Report Viewer enables you to save the report. Use Save to save newreports or to overwrite changes to existing reports. Use Save As to copyexisting reports by saving them under a new name. You can accesssaved reports by selecting File > Open. Use the following steps to savea report.

    1. Select File > Save or File > Save As.

    The Save File window appears:

    2. Select the directory under which you want to save the report ortype the directory path into the Selection field.

    The directory path appears in the Selection field. For more detailedinstructions on locating a file, see the Introduction chapter of theGetting Started manual.

    3. Type a name for your report after the directory path in theSelection field. If you like, use the .rpv extension to identify thefile type.

    Use the following steps to send your report to a printer or to save it as aformatted ASCII file.

    1. Select File > Print.

    The Print Functions window appears:

  • Landmark Graphics Corporation Visualization3. Specify whether you wish to print to a file or to a printer byclicking on the appropriate toggle button.

    Print to File: Select a directory and specify a name for theASCII file. The file will retain the proper formats for the report.You then can send the file to a printer. See the Print to Filewindow on the previous page.

    Print to Printer: When you select Print to Printer, thefollowing window appears:

    Type in the Report Page Heading and highlight a printer name. Aswhen you print to a file, the file retains the proper formats forprinting. If discriminators were used, the printed report lists thenames and minimum and maximum values of the discriminatorcurves at the top of each page of the report.

    Use the following steps to retrieve a saved report.

    1. Select File > Open.

    The Select File window appears:

    2. Locate the directory under which the report is stored and click onit. The Reports stored in the selected directory appear in the Filefield.

    3. Select a report from the Files field.

    The selected report appears in the Selection field.
