REPORT ON CULTURALPROGRAMME ON REPUBLIC DAY

The cultural programme on the occasion of Republic day was held on 26/01/2014 at GVP Degree

College(A). In this programme, many students participated actively and came in traditional attire and

showed their patriotism. Some students dressed up in the attire of Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma

Gandhi etc and performed many patriotic events which were thought provoking. The events made the

audience patriotically delighted and could let the audience know how significant our Indian freedom

fighters and their sacrifices. Even the importance of Indian constitution is emphasized. The events which

made India a Republic nation were highlighted. The entire event was inspiring to all the youth present

over there.

REPORT ON DISTRICT LEVEL YOUTH FESTIVAL

The District level NSS YOUTH FESTIVAL was conducted by NSS unit –I and II of our college on 11th

January 2014 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm in the college campus. The youth festival was organised by the

NSS Programme officers G.Lakshmi Narayana and Smt.P.Roja. In the inaugural session Ms E.P.S.Bhagya

lakshmi, district programme officer graced the occasion as chief guest and inaugurated the festival.
