Report on a Survey on the Situation, Trends and Perspectives in Employment in the Fitness Sector in selected EU countries
EA-FITNESS FINAL CONFERENCEBrussels, 10 September 2010
Matthias Guett
The aim of the EA-Fitness Employer Survey 2010 was to research the status quo for employment, mobility, VET systems and training programmes within the Fitness sector in at least seven EU countries.
The work consisted of both desk and primary research.
The reason for primary research was that the sector faces fundamental problem when looking for Labour Market Information as so far the SIC codes did not allow for data to be identified related to the fitness sector through the national data collection services.
