Course Name : Essentials for NX Designers

Course Duration : 13/10/2014 to 17/10/2014

Centre of Excellence- Siemens has organized the first training course at L.D. college of Engineering for the students of B.E. (Civil & Mechanical) final year for one week on “Essentials for NX Designers”. During the training students were explained the importance of geometric modeling in computer. Students learned the opening and working with NX Interface. They exercised impact of Coordinate Systems on Parts. Students also, practiced on NX software and learned different commands for sketching, modifying and 3D modeling of the real life objects. Different objects are created using commands like, sweep, mirror, shell.

After successful completion of the course, participants are capable of creating simple parts in sketching environment and applying different 3D modeling commands to create geometric models of different objects.
