FOR YEAR 2017-18 (TENDER OPENED ON 10-07-2017) 1. The meeting of Technically Scrutiny Committee was held on 06-09-2017 in the Chairmanship of Sr.

Technical Officer B.B.Hospital, Rawalpindi.

2. Files of followings firms were considered for technical scrutiny in accordance with the criteria laid

down in the tender documents circulated vide letter No. SO (DCP) I-1/2016- Prequalification by the specialized

3. The technical scrutiny was carried out of pre-qualified firms. The numbering criteria were adopted. The

checklist of knock down and general clause was also considered for the scrutiny purpose.

4. The checklist regarding the knockout clauses and general clauses are present in the individual files of the

firms along with numbering Performa.

5. The list of medicine prepared does not include the specification of product/ packing therefore the

packing was examined of the samples provided by the firms and taken into consideration.

6. The company/firm who will supply iso-flurane and sevo-flurane may be bound to provide latest and

high end model vaporizers which should be temperature and flow compensated. Vaporizers should be

compatible with anesthesia machine when demanded by the end user as well. The company will maintain and

calibrate the vaporizers free of cost.

7. The samples of the firms provided were also examined and signed by the committee members.

8. The scrutiny of individual files as per list of prequalified items of the manufacturer/sole agent and

samples, It has been observed that:-

9. M/s Chiesi Pharmaceuticals being prequalified sole agent meet the criteria of knockout and general

clauses/numbering. The firm quoted two items.

i. Beclomrthason Dipropionate 800mcg/2ml Nebulizer solution. (Responsive)

10. M/s Brooks Pharma being the prequalified manufacturer meets the criteria of knockout and general

clauses/numbering. The firm quoted 21 items and out of 21, only 10 are prequalified.

11. M/s Muller & Phipps being prequalified sole agent for silk, prolene and polyglactin meets the criteria

of knockout and general clauses/numbering as per examination of file. The firm quoted different sizes of silk,

down and general clauses/numbering as per bidding document. The firm quoted Disposable Syringes (5, 10, 20

& 50 cc) Silk (05 different Sizes), Catgut Chromic (06 different sizes), Polyglycolic (05 different sizes) and

Polypropylene (06 different sizes). All are pre-qualified as per list of the Government. The Detail of the quoted
