    General Guidelines for project report formatting

    Font to be used throughout the report: ARIAL

    Style for headings

    o Chapter Heading: ARIAL, 14, UPPER CASE, BOLD, UNDERLINED,CENTER OF PAGE

    o Sub-heading: ARIAL, 12, UPPER CASE, BOLD, UNDERLINED,LEFT ALLIGNED

    o Sub-subheading: ARIAL, 12, Sentence case, BOLD, LEFT ALLIGNEDo All further

    Sub-headings: ARIAL, 12, Title case, LEFT ALLIGNED

    Example:

    Numbering of figures: Format X.Y.

    X is chapter number

    Y is figure number in that chapter

    e.g. The sixth figure in Chapter 2 should be namedFigure 2.6.

    Caption below the figure:

    Figure 2.6

    Example:

    Figure x.y Logo of the ARAI

    Numbering of tables: Format: Same as format for numbering figures.

    Table style should be BASIC (AS SHOWN BELOWIN EXAMPLE), no fancy and colorful table styles tobe used.

    Format for list of reference

    For your report, references should be numbered in order of first appearance.

    The format for bibliographic references is as follows:

    Forpapers:

    Author last name, first name or initials, co-author(s) first and last name(s) (if applicable)."Paper Title," paper number, publisher name, publisher city, state, year of publication.

    Forarticles:

    Author last name, first name or initials, co-author(s) first and last name(s) (if applicable),"Article Title," Magazine or Journal Name, volume and page numbers, publisher name,publisher city, state, year of publication.

    Forbooks:

    Author last name, first name or initials, co-author(s) first and last name(s) (if applicable),editors (if applicable), Book Title, edition number (if applicable) publisher name, publisher city,state, year of publication, Page number/s

    Also include ISBN number (if known) after publisher name.
