OBJECTIVES
• Understanding key responsibilities of a RWS Unit
• Familiarizing of activities and interaction with experienced personnel of other RWS Units.
RWS STAFF DETAILS
• Formulation of Master Database by collection, verification, revision, addition and improvements to existing CBO WASH data.• Assistance beyond CBO/ PS Managed Pipe-borne
Schemes technically and socially. • Awareness to CBOs for implementation of National
Water Quality Surveillance Programme (adapted water supply plans)• Advice on diversification of CBO activities

Strengthen District RWS Units Reorientation of RWS staff to identify and address
real requirements of the sector Promotion of hygienically improved sanitation
options Research and development of low cost appropriate
technologies
