Theft Deterrent Program

The Equi-Pro® Theft Deterrent Program provides you these important additional benefits:

‣RENTAL CAR ALLOWANCEWe understand that the loss of your vehicle may be a hardship. We provide reimbursement for a rental car of $25 per day for up to 20 days.

‣TRIP INTERRUPTION BENEFITSIf you happen to be away from home when your car is stolen, we will reimburse you for meals and lodging up to $1,000, for airfare for you and your family up to $1,000, and for related long distance telephone costs up to $100.

‣TRANSFERABILITYIf you sell your vehicle within your warranty terms, the remaining coverage can be transferred to the new owner, thereby enhancing the resale value of your vehicle.

‣DISCOUNTS ON AUTO INSURANCEMost insurance companies will reduce the cost of your comprehensive insurance policy when you have a vehicle theft deterrent system installed in your vehicle. The Equi-Pro® Theft Deterrent Program meets the insurance requirements for such vehicle theft deterrent systems.

If your vehicle is stolen,

1. Contact your local law enforcement department within 24 hours of your discovery of the theft;

2. Notify your Auto Insurance company; and

RECOVER FROM THE UNEXPECTED.If your vehicle is stolen, The Equi-Pro® Theft Deterrent Program provides these important features:

‣VEHICLE PROTECTION EXPENSES If your vehicle is declared a Total Loss,you will be reimbursed for expenses you incur as a result of the theft, including your insurance deductible, temporary vehicle rental expenses, and expenses for your replacement vehicle.

‣DEALER REPLACEMENT BENEFITS If your vehicle is declared a Total Loss, The Equi-Pro® Theft Deterrent Program will pay, directly to your dealer, an amount applied to the down payment of your replacement vehicle.

‣PARTIAL LOSS BENEFITSIf your vehicle is declared a Partial Loss, you will be reimbursed for theft related expenses up to $1,000.

While it is impossible to guarantee that your vehicle won’t be stolen, there are simple, cost effective measures you can take to deter auto thieves.

By permanently marking major areas of your vehicle with traceable identification numbers, it becomes much more difficult to resell, either whole or in part.

The Equi-Pro® Theft Deterrent Program pro-vides two layers of protection:

• a proven theft deterrent device considered by many law enforcement departments as the most effective means of deterring theft, and

• valuable financial assistance if your vehicle is stolen.

The visible presence of the Equi-Pro® Theft Deterrent identification number on your vehicle makes it a less attractive target for auto thieves.

IT HAPPENS EVERY DAY.

1. You and your vehicle are assigned an identification number.

2. This identification number is either engraved onto each glass window of your vehicle, or affixed to the body panels of the vehicle by means of super adhesive stickers.

3. Warning decal stickers are placed on both the driver and passenger side windows, alerting people that the vehicle has been protected with a theft deterrent device.

4. Your name and identification number are then entered into a computerized vehicle system.
