ALL ARE WELCOME AT SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL PARISHSaint Michael the Archangel Parish is a faith based community of Catholic Christians in North Greenbush. We strive for dedication to an open door approach in our activities and liturgy. Following the leadership and example of our Parish Life Director, Sister Kath-erine Arsenau, we remain mindful of the diversity of need and interest in those around us, and welcome all who wish to join us.In keeping with that spirit St. Michael’s worship sched-ule includes a Mass that is signed for the hearing im-paired. St Michael’s is one of only three parishes in the region offering this type of service, and it is sched-uled at 4:30 pm on the First Saturday of the month. The Church is located just off Rte 4 on Williams Road, opposite the athletic fields of HVCC, with ample park-ing, and a handicapped access entryway.Anyone interested in this service, or other programs at St. Michael’s, can call Sister Kate at 283-6110.

EVERYONE WELCOME TO EARLY SERVICE AT KINDERHOOK REFORMED CHURCHKinderhook Reformed Church welcomes everyone to an early service on Sunday mornings at 8:30AM at the church. It is a slightly more contemporary ser-vice with Communion being served the first Sunday of each month. Please come and join us in this new endeavor and see how it fits into your life. Jim Huli-han.A showing of the dvd “Bonhoeffer” in its entirety will take place. Bonhoeffer, Pastor and Theologian, has gained notoriety in our time as a leading figure The Hitler Resistance, for which he was hanged, and as author of ‘”The Cost of Discipleship”. But the life and witness of Bonhoeffer as a Christian who struggled with the question ‘’Who Is Christ For Us Today?’’ also deserves to be told. So come join us on Ash Wednes-day and each Wednesday thereafter!

On February 20th, the service will be held at Gilead Lu-theran Church (Lenten Supper) at 5:30PM - 7PM; Feb-ruary 27th at Trinity; March 6th at Gilead Lutheran in Brunswick; March 13th at Trinity Lutheran Church; March 20th at Gilead Lutheran Church. Come and be nourished in Body and Spirit!!!! Call 674-5501 for further information.

ALL ARE SUMMONEDThe prophet Jeremiah, like other Hebrew proph-ets, expressed inadequacy or reluctance when sum-moned by God to engage in divine service. In Jer-emiah 1:4-10, the prophet recounts the story of his being summoned by God and his resistance to it. Yet, God said to Jeremiah, “I have put my words in your mouth”. Our God not only loves us but also summons us, not because of who we are or what we are, but because of who God is. The Stuyvesant Reformed Church begins worship at 9 a.m. in its sanctuary at the intersection of Church Street and Route 9J in the hamlet of Stuyvesant. The Nassau Reformed Church begins worship at 11 a.m. in its chapel on the second level of its Church-School-Building, 43 Church Street (Rte 20) in the vil-lage of Nassau.
