i. Thekingsoftheearthsetthemselves,andtherulerstakecounseltogether,againsttheLordand

promisesofGodandtheirbelieves.Theyhavenoanswerstomattersoffaith.

i. TheyhadplottedtolureChristintosaying:paynotaxestoRome,sothatthiscouldcauseChristtobeagainstthelawofRome,andcouldsubmitChristtotheRomangovernmentfor

judgment;butifChristsaid:paytaxes,itwillaggravatethepeopleofIsrael.

ii. ButChristJesushadansweredtheminsuchawisemanner:renderthereforetoCaesarthethingsthatareCaesars,andtoGodthethingsthatareGods.Thishadmadethemspeechless.

Many

people

thought

that

faith

in

Christ

and

practicality

contradicts

each

other

and

that

the

faith

in

Christcouldnotprovidemanypracticalanswerstothecommonproblemswhichwerefaced.

i. Forthenonbelievers,theywerestubbornandtheycriticized.Asforthebelievers,manytimestheylivetocompromisetheworldandtheywereweak.Alltheseoriginatefromthe

misunderstandinginChristJesus.

ii. IntheGospelofChrist,thereareclearanswerstoallthings.TheconfusingandironicaleventsofbelieversoriginatedfromtheirincompleteunderstandingtotheGospel.Therefore,whenwe

areconfused,weshouldlearnmoreaboutthewisdomandanswerwhichliesintheGospel.

iii. Therefore,thedegreeofthesanctificationofasaintliesinthedegreeoftheunderstandingintheperfectwillofGodineverythingandeverydayhe/shelives.

2. Jesussaid:RenderthereforetoCaesarthethingsthatareCaesars,andtoGodthethingsthatareGodsa. Whilelivingonearth,thereare2typesofpeople,2worlds(thespiritualrealmandthematerialrealm)

andthereare2lawsaswell.Itisnotthatthe2worldsshouldbeagainsteachother,andtheyshould

notseparatefromeachother.Ofcourse,therearerelationshipsbetweenthem.Itisjustthatthe

mattersinthesmallerworld(thematerialrealm)couldnotcomprehendthebiggerworld(thespiritual

realm),thelimitedcouldnotcontaintheinfinite,thetemporarycouldnotcomprehendtheeternaland

thosewhichbelongstotheworld(materialrealm)couldunderstandthosethatareofspiritual.

i. TherearepeoplewhobelongtoGodandpeoplewhoareworldly/mattersbelongingtothespiritandmattersbelongingtotheflesh/lawsofthespiritualrealmandlawsoftheworld.

b. Onlyatruespiritualpersoncouldseethatallthings,allmattersandallthepeopleintheentireuniverseexistedbecauseofGodanditisallbeinggovernedbyGod

i. TheobjectiveofGodonearthistoglorifyHissonChristJesus,gathertheeternalcitizensoftheKingdomofHeavenandtoestablishaneternalKingdom.Becauseofthis,Godalsotemporarily

allowedSatantobethecontenderofGod,theprincipalitiesofpowerintheair,makingpeople

fallandalsothegovernoroftheworld=GodhardenedtheheartofthePharaoh,allowhimto

ii. Throughthissetupofspiritualsurrounding,onlythenGodcouldtrainHisholycitizensinordertoobtainbornagain,sanctificationandthecrownofglory.Thesearetheholyandglorious

worksofGod.

iii. Inthistemporaryworldwhichwelivein,allmattersgoaccordingtoGodsperfecttimingandscheduleuntilthenumbersofpeoplewhomwillbesavedarefulfilled.

iv. Whenthehistoryoftheworldcomestoanend,Satanandhisfollowerswillbeputtoeternaljudgment;ChristandHispeoplewillruletheeternalKingdomtogether.

c. WehavetounderstandthatGodsbeautifulperfectwillisnotforustodenytheworld,nortocompromisewiththeworld,butweshouldtriumphovertheworldandinfluencetheworld=asthe

Lordsaid:RenderthereforetoCaesarthethingsthatareCaesars,andtoGodthethingsthatare

Gods.

i. ToGodthethingsthatareGods:Theheaven,theearthandallthethingsexistedbecauseofGodandforGod;therefore,allthesaintsshouldoffertheirlives,timeandstrengthtoGodto

glorifyGod,beablessingforthepeopleandfortheestablishmentoftheKingdomofHeaven.

ToCaesarthethingsthatareCaesars:Thesaintsshouldunderstandandsuccumbto

authorities,

because

all

authorities

came

from

God

and

was

appointed

by

God.

Therefore,

thosewhomopposeauthoritiesareopposingGodsordinanceandthesepeoplearelookingforself

judgment.Forrulersisnotaterrortogoodworks,buttoevil;Servants,be

submissivetoyourmasterswithallfear,notonlytothegoodandgentle,butalsototheharsh

;ThereforeIexhortfirstofallthatsupplications,prayers,intercessions,and

givingofthanksbemadeforallmen,forkingsandallwhoareinauthority,thatwemayleada

quietandpeaceablelifeinallgodlinessandreverence.

1. Thesaintsshouldobeythelawsandlegalitiesoftheworld(the5duties):Thelaw,taxes,nationaldefense,educationandoccupation;ChristJesuspaidthetaxesandHeglorified

laws

of

the

world

existed

for

the

peace

of

majority

thecitizenswhomarekindandgentle,anditisallfromGodsperfectwill.Whenthesaints

obeythelawandtheauthorities,theyareobeyingGodsperfectwillanditisallto

glorifyGod,beablessingforthepeopleandfortheestablishmentoftheKingdomof

Heaven.

2. Inallphilosophiesofgoverning(communism,capitalism,despotism,dictatorship,democracy,socialism)andinallenvironments(common,povertyandrichness,prison,

collectionpostandthepalace)asaintcanalwayspresentGodsrighteousnessand

Godsgentleness.

3. Butasasaint,wemustntobeytothesinsofthegovernorsoftheworld,worshiptheidolsandanythingwhichgoagainstGod;saintsmustnotdenytheworld,butmustnot

minglewiththesinsoftheworld.SaintsmustleverageonthestrengthfromGodtobe

thelightandthesaltoftheworld.

iv. ChristJesusdidnotdenyscience,reasonsandthelawsofnature.Butmostofthetime,HerunHislifeaccordingtoHisscience,reasonsandthelawsofnature.Butattimes,Hehasto

displaycertainmiraclestotestifythemysteriesthatforHimandthosewhoarewithHimcould

eventriumphoverscience,reasonsandthelawsofnature.

v. ChristJesushasdisplayedaninfinitelovetousandHehasgivenusexamplesofforgiveness,compassion,love,blessing,hopeandhowtowait.

vi. Hehaslivedasapoor,lowlyandaharshlifetocallotherstohaverichness,honorablestatusandpeace.

b. Thequalificationsofasaintwillsurpassthequalificationofthepeoplearoundtheworld.i. Identity,belongings,authority,strength,inheritance,eyesight,wisdomandtime.
