The network infrastructure

• Based on ~30 Points of Presence (NR) in mainland France

• 7 Points of Presence overseas (worldwide)• Backbone infrastructure provided by several

telcos (CEGETEL, France Telecom, Level3, 9Telecom)

• WDM lightpaths and dark fibres• A unique NMS provider: Communications &

Systems (CS)

• 2 components• IP routed on a meshed architecture

provided by telcos lightpaths• Switched lightpaths produced by

RENATER from leased dark fibres
