Mode 1. Automatic Shut-off. Receiver shuts off
automatically after 45 minutes of non-use toconserve battery power.
Mode 2. Manual Shut-off. Receiver remains onuntil manually turned off.
To turn receiver off from either Mode 1or 2, slowly place dots together for 3
seconds and then separate. Listen for along beep.
Locate the two dots on both the transmitter and receiver then slowly place two dots together for 3seconds and then separate. Listen for one short beep.
After placing the receiver in mode 1, within 5seconds of the first beep, slowly place dotstogether again for three seconds and thenseparate. Listen for two short beeps.

IV. Set the correction level
To rogram Correction level, hold down the button. After
2 seconds, the receiver will indicate the present correctionlevel setting by beeping the corresponding number of timesfor the current level.Continue to hold the button down until the number of beeps equals the level of correction you want.After Level 8, the receiver will go back to Level 1.

Check batteries (monthly).
Clean probes with alcohol (weekly).
Be sure that the probes are tightened securely to the receiver (monthly).
Check your pet’s neck for any irritation (daily).
