Remnants Blanket Your queries, your feedback, your finished Remnants Blanket… I would be delighted to hear from you through Ravelry or email me at [email protected]. © Ilona J Delargy I needed a project to use up small amounts of yarn and I have come up with this colourful solution. It uses DK yarn, but it is quite loose and forgiving, so I have also added in some chunky and cotton yarns. I don’t sew the squares together, but crochet them to the circles as I go along. It does mean that there is a lot of ends to be weaved in! It measures about 36” square at the moment (that’s 240 squares). But I will continue adding to it. Brought to you by crochetmascots.com and designed by Ilona. Instructions: Circles: Into a Magic loop: ch1, 8dc, ss to first stitch. Squares - First round: Into a magic loop: ch3 (counts as first tr), 2tr, ch2, 3tr, [ch2, 3tr] 3 times, ss to top of starting ch3. Second round (second colour) NOTE: you will be joining your square to 4 different circles as you work. Join at any ch2 space. 3tr, ch1, ss to circle, 3tr, ch1 to same space, [3tr, ch1, ss to another circle, 3tr, ch1 to next space] 3 times, ss to top of starting ch3. Weave in ends.
