National Program Flower City Habitat for Humanity needs your help to complete a Women Build house in Rochester, New York. Crews of women volunteers have already built more than 1,000 Habitat for Humanity Women Build homes within the United States. Your donation will be used to provide Rochester area volunteers with raw materials and the necessary training to turn volunteers into builders. The Women Build Program empowers women to build Habitat for Humanity homes, enabling them to positively impact the lives of children by making homeownership a reality for families. Lowe's is a partial sponsor for Women Build projects nation-wide. Want to learn more about the national initiative? Visit www.rochabitat.org Fundraising Teams In order to raise the $79,000 needed for building materials, tools, insurance and staff supervision, our Women Build teams will create a virtual house online by asking friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor their house-building efforts. Each team member will watch their own virtual house being built as donations grow. The totals from each member are added to their team's total and ultimately to the grand total needed to break ground on the real Habitat construction site in ROCHESTER on Mother's Day Weekend, 2010.
