CLASS RULES 1. RESPECT AND COURTESY ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES, toward EVERYONE -Teachers, Students, Staff and Visitors. 2. CLASS PARTICIPATION is required and is part of your grade. ALL communication will be in English, since practice makes perfect. 3. NO LATE ARRIVALS. Students must be on time, be prepared, have homework done, and have all needed supplies, including books, paper, pens, pencils, etc. If you are late 3 times it will be equivalent to an absence. Remember that you need a minimum of 80% attendance to take the period exam. 4. NO cell phones, video games, i-Pods, PDA’s or other electronic equipment, unless needed for and being used for class. Violation will result in confiscation of the device until the end of the class. If you insist, the device will be kept until the end of the day. If the rule is violated a third time, your parents will have to come and collect it. 5. NO food or beverages in class, although you may bring your own water in a bottle or other container (no sharing, it’s not hygienic). 6. NO gum while participating in class, or giving presentations. 7. NO TALKING or other DISTRACTIONS OR DISRUPTIONS unrelated to the class activity will be allowed. 8. NO Plagiarism. Plagiarism in any case will result in an automatic ZERO on the paper, project, and even period grade.
