strangersWelcoming Dr. Jim Fenton is retired after forty years as an Internist in solo practice. Donna Fenton has worked as a nurse and counsellor, but mainly as a mom. They have two sons and four grandchildren.
Dr. Segun Oyedokun has worked as a family doctor in Nigeria, South Africa and Saskatchewan. He is an ER Physician in the Saskatoon Health Region.
Dr. Keith Walker has been a professor at the U of S for 25 years with an academic focus on leadership ethics, the private/spiritual lives of leaders & pastoral care for and by leaders. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Educational Administration and the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy.
Dr. Michael Tymchak, as program director, was involved in founding the Northern Teacher Education Program (NORTEP) based in LaRonge, SK, where he has worked for many years. The program was designed to promote educational opportunities for northern Aboriginal peoples. He has also worked as an Ethnohistorian, interviewing First Nation and Metis elders from across northern Saskatchewan, as well as having been involved in other educational projects in all of the northern Territories in Canada. Over the course of his career has been a faculty member at the U of Saskatchewan, the U of Regina, Regent College (UBC), Canadian Bible College & Theological Seminary, as well as the University of Manchester.
Dr. Dan Reilly is an Associate Clinical Professor in OB/GYN at McMaster University. He teaches clinical medicine, ethics, and professionalism to medical leaners at every level. For more info see: www.danreilly.ca
Janessa Mah is a fourth year Medical student at the U of S graduating in 2016. She is interested in a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Gloria Yoo is a third year medical student at the U of S graduating in 2017. She is interested in a career in Pediatrics.
Dr. Peter Block is a retired general surgeon. He and Arlene Block have served as missionaries for many years: India (10), Ethiopia (3) and Nepal (9). They have also worked as IVCF staff in the International Student Program in Saskatoon.
Drs. Corina Gottschling & David Stevenson have practiced dentistry in Kitimat, BC for over 20 years. This husband and wife team have learned much about personal growth, human resource management, and how to run a health care practice with God’s principles as its foundation. They have a passion to share what God has given to them in order to help others live and practice in an authentic way.
Dr. Abraham Ninan has worked in Mission Hospitals in India for five years before emigrating to Canada. He qualified in Pediatrics and worked as a Neonatologist in Saskatoon and Regina. He has done frequent mission trips to India since 1993.

BiosKeynote SpeakerDr. David W. Shenk was born to pioneer Mennonite missionaries inTanzania.Forsixteenyearsheandhiswife,Grace,servedwithinMuslim communities in Somalia and Kenya and then as pastor couple at Mountville Mennonite Church. David has also served in missions’ administration with Eastern Mennonite Missions and as academic dean at Lithuania Christian College. His interest in Christian peacemaking and faithful witness to Christ among Muslims has taken him into some 100 countries. He has authored, co-authored or edited numerous books on themes related to the mission of the church in our pluralist world. At present he is Global Missions Consultant with Eastern Mennonite Missions with special attention to Islam.
Celebration Banquet SpeakerBishop Donald Bolen was consecrated as the 7th Bishop of the Diocese of Saskatoon on March 25, 2010. After ordination, he was involved in pastoral ministry as well as teaching at Campion College, before being assigned to the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity in Rome (2001-08), acting as the Vatican’s staff person for relations with the Anglican Communion and World Methodist Council, and serving as co-secretary of the international dialogues with Anglicans (ARCIC and IARCCUM) and Methodists during that period. He also co-chaired the international committee responsible for the preparation of texts for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Bishop Bolen has written and lectured extensively on ecumenism, and currently serves as co-chair of IARCCUM, co-chair of the International Methodist-Catholic Dialogue, and theologian for the international Evangelical-Catholic dialogue. He is a member of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. In Saskatoon, he has been a member of the Evangelical-Catholic dialogue, and has worked with Evangelical pastors and leaders on numerous initiatives.
Workshop LeadersAndrew Davidson & Dr. Kasie Kelln were married in 2013. Andrew is in his final year of Dentistry at the U of S. Kasie is in her first year of Family Medicine Residency at the U of S. They are looking forward to establishing rural practices in their respective professions.
Dr. James MacMillan is in his fourth year of rural, group family medicine practice in Rosthern SK. Sarah MacMillan, a musician, is a home schooling mom. They have three young children.
