MARK ANDRE, FAAO Mr. Andre is an Associate Professor of Optometry at the Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon and an educational consultant at CooperVision. He received his degree in Ophthalmic Technology from Pima College in Arizona and a Certificate in Management from Marquette University’s School of Business in Wisconsin. Mark is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry’s Cornea and Contact Lens Section. He is also a fellow of the Contact Lens Society of America and a past board member. He is a contributing editor of Contact Lens Spectrum and previously served as Chairman of the Board for the National Contact Lens Examiners. Mark has extensive clinical experience in the treatment of complex contact lens cases. He is a well-known lecturer both nationally and internationally and was named one of the “30 Most Influential in Contact Lenses” in the September 2016 issue of Spectrum.

JOYCE ARDREY, CPCJoyce is a Practice Management Consultant specializing in Optometry with over 25 years of experience in the medical coding and consulting field. Mrs. Ardrey started her consulting company, Consultation and Implementation (C&I), in 1992. As a consultant, she performs compliance and chart audits, staff and physician education, and office organization.

JASON ELLEN, OD Dr. Ellen graduated Cum Laude from NSUOCO in 1999, and furthered his education by completing an ocular disease and refractive surgery residency through BVA Advanced Eyecare and TLC Laser Eye Center in Oklahoma City. In 2015 he partnered with Dr. Chad Chamberlain and together purchased the Tulsa practice to form Oklahoma Medical Eye Group (OMEG).

IAN BEN GADDIE, OD, FAAO Dr. Gaddie earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry. He then completed a Residency in Ocular Disease through NSUOCO at the Triad Eye Medical Clinic and Cataract Institute in Tulsa, OK. Currently, he is the owner and director of Gaddie Eye Centers, a multi-location full service practice in Louisville that was started by his father over 40 years ago. Dr. Gaddie is a Past President of the Kentucky Optometric Association. Having published extensively in ophthalmic literature, Dr. Gaddie serves on the editorial boards of Review of Optometry, Optometric Management, Primary Care Optometry News and Optometry Times.

LARRY HENRY, OD, FAAODIPLOMATE AMERICAN BOARD OF OPTOMETRYDr. Henry is clinical director for BVA Advanced Eye Care. Dr. Henry received his doctor of optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1991 and later completed his ocular disease residency at the Vision Education Foundation in Oklahoma City.

DAWN HOLSTED, ODDIPLOMATE AMERICAN BOARD OF OPTOMETRY Dr. Holsted earned her doctorate degree from NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry. She currently is President and CEO of nJoy Vision. She serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Oklahoma College of Optometry at NSU.

NEEL KUMAR, MDDr. Kumar received his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama College of Medicine. He then completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University and The Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans where he was nominated to serve as the Chief Resident. Dr. Kumar completed his fellowship training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, orbit, and lacrimal system at the University of South Florida and the Duke Eye Hospital in Durham, NC.

JILL LUEBBERT, CPOT, ABOJill has been involved in paraoptometry for over 20 years. She is a Location Manager at EyeCare Specialties in Fremont. She has served in the Nebraska Paraoptometric Section and the AOA Paraoptometric Section. She served as Section Editor of Optometry-Journal of the American Optometric Association, and is a regular contributor to Vision Care Product News. Jill speaks at state, regional and national meetings and is a member of the Essilor Speakers Bureau. Jill is also an independent ophthalmic trainer and instructor.

DOUG MARTINDoug is the owner of Optical Solutions consulting company and a professional speaker for Innereactive. Doug has consulted for over 100 practices, advising optometry on how to expertly integrate purchasing, merchandising, marketing, and selling into their practices. In 2010, Doug joined Hoya as Vice President of Key Accounts and called on all the major Doctor Optical Alliance Groups, and in 2012 joined PECAA as the Director of Membership.

CHRIS MCDANIELS, ODDr. Chris McDaniels graduated from NSUOCO and owns LOOK Eyecare & Eyewear in Tulsa. A child of Deaf parents, Dr. McDaniels is fluent in American Sign Language, and he is proud to be able to offer deaf-friendly eyecare services. Dr. McDaniels served as the district director for the OAOP and is a founding director on the board for the Tulsa Art Deco Museum.

CHARLES RONAN, ODDr. Ronan graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2017. He completed an Ocular Disease resident through NSU, splitting time between BVA and nJoy Vision in Oklahoma City. Dr. Ronan practices at BVA Advanced Eye Care.

JO’EL STURM, OD Dr Sturm is Founder and Vice President of Network Development for nJoy Vision, developing referral centers for refractive surgery, new technologies in refractive cataract surgery and the treatment of keratoconus. She is a Past President of the organization. Dr Sturm is also a supervisor of residents at nJoy Vision Tulsa in conjunction with NSUOCO.

SAMANTHA TOTH, ABOC, HFOAA Samantha is a professional speaker and marketing consultant for Innereactive, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She grew up in an optical practice with multiple family members in the industry. An ABO certified optician herself, Samantha worked as a dispensing optician for eight years, as well as managed an independent optometric practice. With a strong passion for marketing and design, Samantha completed a bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University. In 2003, she started Innereactive Media, a full-service marketing company that specializes in the optical industry. Her experience as a certified optician, along with her formal marketing education has given her a unique perspective on marketing, design, and website solutions for the optical industry. Her niche expertise led her to be named one of the “Most Influential Women in Optical,” and her company was named one of Michigan’s Top 50 Companies to Watch in 2016.

STEVE VARGO, OD, MBADr. Vargo is a 1998 graduate of Illinois College of Optometry. After working in clinical optometric practice for several years, Dr. Vargo pursued his passion for practice management by earning his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in 2008. A published author and speaker with 15 years of clinical experience, he serves as IDOC’s Optometric Practice Management Consultant. Dr. Vargo advises optometric alliance members in all areas of practice management and optometric office operations.

CHRIS WROTEN, OD Dr. Wroten graduated from Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Tennessee in 2002 and completed a residency in Hospital-Based Primary Eyecare at the Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In 2003, he joined the staff at West Tennessee Eye. In the summer of 2005 Dr. Wroten joined the Bond Eye Clinic & Surgery Center in Hammond, Louisiana, as a partner with Hunter Bond, O.D., where he continues to serve as Chief Operating Officer and provide cutting edge primary eyecare. Dr. Wroten has received numerous scholarships and academic and clinical awards, and has been elected President of the Optometry Association of Louisiana, President of the Southeast Louisiana Optometric Society, and Vice-President of the West Tennessee Optometric Society.
