Responsible for direct patient care in the

assigned department and as needed in other

areas of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.

Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to

federal and state regulations.

Able to monitor, scrub, and/or circulate on

all Cath Lab procedures including Electro

physiology, Pacemaker and AICD insertions.

Description:

Operates all equipment efficiently in the Cath Lab

department to include the hemodynamic

monitoring, blood analysis, cine projector, intra-

aortic balloon pump, injectors, cautery, electro

physiology and ablation equipment, pacemaker,

defibrillator and all other equipment utilized in the

Cath Lab.

Trouble-shoots and assesses equipment failure

and provide a backup plan when needed.

Assures that all supplies are available as needed

for each patient.

SHIFT AVAILABILTY: 10:30 - 21:00

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited

nursing program.

Requirements:

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Registered Nurse with current state

licensure, ACLS within 18 months of hire

and current BLS certification required.

CCRN preferred.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one (1) year of continuous cath

lab experience preferred. Previous critical

care experience preferred.
