Patrick J. Kennedy became the youngest member of the Kennedy family to hold elected office when, in 1988, he won election to the Rhode Island House of Representatives at age 21. Since then, Kennedy went on to serve 16 years in the United States House of Representatives, representing Rhode Island’s first congressional district from 1994 to 2011. While in office, he distinguished himself as a leader on issues of healthcare, sciences, veterans, technology, civil rights, and mental health.
As a founding member of the 21st Century Healthcare Caucus; the Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Caucus; and the Down Syndrome Caucus, Kennedy has been a tireless advocate for access to health and advancements in medical research.

Jordan YOUNGConference Sales Coordinator
Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Jordan grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and continues to call it home. He is a 2005 graduate of Belmont University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. His primary studies were management, marketing and entrepreneurship.
Jordan has a background in real estate and mortgage lending. He maintains a license with the state of Tennessee as an affiliate broker in real estate and notary public. Jordan got a job with Foundations Recovery Network in 2010, working with addicted individuals and their families. He has helped over 5,000 individuals find appropriate treatment programs and has coordinated interventions between families of addicted individuals, professional interventionists and treatment centers. He currently works as the conference sales coordinator, ensuring the success of conferences by facilitating speakers, sponsors and participants. Jenny Decker joined Foundations in February of 2013 as the conference and marketing coordinator. Jenny graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in electronic media management with a concentration in radio/TV broadcasting. Prior to joining FRN, Jenny began her career creating and planning promotional events for various radio stations in Nashville, Tenn., then in Austin, Texas. More recently,
she was the special events manager for Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art. While there, she planned various types of events for many diverse clients and began her passion for pursuing a career in meeting planning.
