ATTENTION EXHIBITORSNO DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CONFERENCE CENTER ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25,2016.

The show site will be available to exhibitors as follows: The Sunflower Ballroom & crating/groom-ing room will be available at 6:00 am on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. NO UNENTERED DOGSALLOWED IN THE SUNFLOWER BALLROOM. No crating or grooming setups will be allowed in the Sunflower Ballroom. Dogs must beremoved after Best of Breed judging each day. Crating/grooming will be allowed ONLY in thecrating/grooming room. Exhibitors & handlers will be responsible for clean conditions aroundtheir grooming/crating areas.The show committees reserve the right to make decisions concerning the grooming, crating &ex-pen areas. Public excercise areas & pens will be available.The public address system will be used at the discretion of the show-giving clubs. Exhibitors areresponsible for having their dogs at ringside for judging.ABSOLUTELY NO BATHING OR GROOMING OF DOGS IN SLEEPING ROOMS.

By local ordinance, smoking is not allowed inside any of the facilities - smoking is allowed outsideonly. A citation & fine can be imposed if in violation.

All trophies and prizes must be claimed the day of the show - none will be mailed.

A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for eachrecordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel ClubRule, Chapter 11, Section 2). A $3.00 AKC Recording Fee will be required for each entry in Rally. (AmericanKennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 3) These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.

CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITHINTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.

There will be no refund for duplicate entries.

Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.

Dogs allowed in rings during judging only.

Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendents will be responsible or obligated tofurnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait forany dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in thejudging rings.

The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

All checks issued as prizes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Lost, stolen and/or misplaced checks willnot be replaced. Checks are valid for 90 days. The Superintendent is not able to cash checks.

RETURNED CHECKS/DECLINED CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry fee. Fees must be paidin guaranteed funds. Checks will not be accepted. The Superintendent will add a fee for completing the trans-action and/or reprocessing the entries. Repeated occurrences from the same exhibitors may result in theirbeing put on a CASH ONLY basis.

Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judgeor barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and exter-nal parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.

No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances,fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy,strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.

The show giving Club, the Show Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc, assume no responsibility for anyloss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumeno responsibility for injury to children.

No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance.Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures or the “Agreement” on the reverse side of the Official AKCEntry Form.

Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Thosereceived by telephone are not acceptable.

Refunds of $3.00 & less will not be issued due to the costs of processing.

An administrative fee of $2.00 will be charged for all cancellations or changes made prior to closing of entries.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION BE IN THE POSSESSIONOF OWNERS, EXHIBIT0RS OR HANDLERS FOR ALL DOGS AT THESE SHOWS.

HOTEL RULES FOR ROOMS WITH DOGS• Under no circumstances can adhesive tape, tacks or any kind of sticky adhesives be used on

the guestroom doors.

• Maximum of four (4) crated dogs per guestroom.

• No uncrated dogs in the guestrooms.

• Plastic sheeting must be under all crates in rooms (plastic will be provided).

• No BATHING OR GROOMING of dogs in any part of the hotel (this includes guestrooms).

• The hotel will make daily inspections of the guestrooms.

• There is a $50.00 non-refundable pet fee for guestrooms with dogs. The Capitol Plaza Hotelreserves the right to charge the individual’s credit card for any cleaning and/or damages tothe hotel’s property; within a reasonable amount.

• No dogs allowed in the restaurant, lounge, pool or pool area, fitness center, meeting roomsor public restrooms.

• Due to the proximity of the restaurant, dogs are allowed in the lobby only to access elevators.

• Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outside of guestrooms.

• All bedspreads will be removed from guestrooms occupied with dogs.

• Observe “no dog” posted areas.

• Do not allow your dog to urinate or defecate on the hotel buildings, or on the landscapedareas of the hotel.

• Always clean up after your dog and deposit it in the trash receptacles that the show committeehas provided throughout the show grounds.

• Please do not let your dog to become a nuisance to your neighbor. There will be non-dogguests at the hotel. Excessive barking will be reported to the show committee, and repeatviolators will be asked to leave.

• The hotel reserves the right to expel those who fail to comply with the posted regulationsor cause damage or disturbance.

Beginner Puppies (4-6 months of age)AKC Sanctioned Beginner Puppy Competition!

Section 1- ClassificationsThe Four-to-Six Month Puppy competition shall be for dogs that are four months of age and over but undersix months on the day of the event.

Section 2 – Entry and EligibilityEntry and eligibility requirements include:

• The Four-to-Six Month Puppy event may be offered at licensed or member dog shows at the optionof the show giving club.

• Four-to-Six Month Puppy Competition must be listed in the premium list, entry form and judgingschedule, if offered.

• AKC registration number or an AKC litter number will be required for all entries.

• A foreign born dog may enter this class if they are registered in the country of origin.

• All entrants are to be vaccinated (including rabies) in accordance with their veterinarian’s protocol.

• Dogs that are owned or co-owned by a professional handler may compete in this class, but must behandled by a non-professional handler. Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs orhas belonged to a professional handlers’ organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised orrepresented themselves as handling dogs for pay within the last five years. Dogs may not be exhibited bycurrent assistants and household members of a professional handler.

Entry Fee: $18.00 (including AKC recording fee of $2.00 for each dog. These fees are paid to theAmerican Kennel Club.)Entries will close Wednesday Noon, October 12, 2016 at Superintendent’s office.

OPEN INTERMEDIATE CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age onthe day of the show who at the time entries close, have won three (3) first place awards in aNovice Class at a licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice Class.

OPEN SENIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 15 and under 18 years of age on the day ofthe show who at the time entries close, have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class ata licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice Class.

MASTER CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 18 years of age on the day of theshow and who have won ten (10) Best Junior Handler awards with competition. The calendar forthis class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. Alljuniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may changetheir entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame forthat year has passed, all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year.

RV & OVERNIGHT PARKING RESERVATION FORM

Overnight parking (NO ELECTRIC) For the Event: $100.00RV & Overnight Parking immediately adjacent to the show venue will be available (by reservationonly) from 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 through 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 30,2016. All parking will be in designated areas, determined by the Host Club & the hotel/parkingstaff & will be assigned upon your arrival. There will be space for ex-pens next to each designatedparking space. All excercise pens must have wood chips, sawdust or mats.

Potable water will be made available via a water hose - fees & times to be announced. The hostclub will arrange for dumping of waste/gray water - fees will be payable to the vendor at the timeof service. Septic dumping service will also be available anytime at the adjoing KansasExpocentre. Generators should be hosed away from all adjacent vehicles. All fire lanes & aisleways must be left open for the free flow of traffic. There will be no support vehicles in the RVParking Area.

The setup date is Wednesday, October 26, 2016 after 3:00 pm (CST).

A booth will consist of draped sides and a wall on the back side.
