How to Become an IT Site in the Future
• Host Site vs. Participating Teams
• Planning for the future– If you want to host: Determine whether you have at least 8-10 teams to
participate in an IT training, IF NOT:
– Talk with your RCN or the district/ISD representatives in your region to determine if you can recruit 10 or more teams from within the region. IF YES, you can request to be a host site.
– Look at the most recent IT application for host site responsibilities
– Some host sites have openings for participating teams to join from outside the region
– Contact START staff if you are interested in serving as the host site for IT
