The Lady in the Van stars Nichola McAuliffe one of British theatre’s

Le nozze DI fIGaro (The Marriage of Figaro)

Transferring direct from the 2012 Glyndebourne Festival, a new

production of Mozart’s life-enhancing classic from celebrated

theatre director Michael Grandage, returning to Glyndebourne

following his critically-acclaimed Billy Budd (2010).

For Mozart, constantly chafing at the restrictions imposed by

his aristocratic patrons, the story of servants outwitting their

master had immediate appeal. He responded with music that

is unrivalled in its beauty and characters with depth and

passion, who still ring true.

A classic. A landmark. A legend.

The Mousetrap is famous around the world as being the longest

running show of any kind in the history of theatre - with almost

25,000 performances it’s a play to be proud of. and to celebrate

60 incredible years on stage, it’s going on tour for the first time,

the scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country

suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the

last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and the

motives are finally revealed.
