How to set up a new inverter

by using REFUset Application via Bluetooth® connection

Download REFUset application (iOS or Android)

Visit App Store or Play Store and Download REFUset app for your mobile or tablet.

Enable Bluetooth communication on your device.

Connect your mobile to inverter

Once you are ready, approach inverter and press the Bluetooth Connect icon.

Icon will start blinking.

Launch REFUset app on your mobile.

Application will scan for available inverters.

You will be requested to pair your mobile with inverter.

Select “Pair”.

Then your mobile will connect to inverter.

Bluetooth Connect icon will become stable blue.

Setup window will request you to select:

• Country

• Grid Code

• Nominal grid voltage

Once you select the correct options, click on “Next”

In next window you can enter communication settings.

You can choose between Ethernet or RS485

In case you have Ethernet communication you can choose between:

• Manual: you have to enter the IP address you want to assign to this inverter

and the Subnet mask and Standard gateway of the network it will be

connected.

• DHCP: inverter is adjusting automatically the IP configuration.

In case you have RS485 communication you can choose between:

• REFU USS

• Sunspec Modbus

Then you have to enter:

• Bus address

• Baud rate

• Parity

• Stop bits

When you finish, click on “Save”.

Inverter will store the new settings and restart.

After that, it will be ready to operate.

Note:

In case communication cabling of the installation is not ready at the time of

commissioning, you can click on “Save” without making any modifications.
