ABHINAYA 2020

Invitation to Waterperry House Nr Wheatley, Oxfordshire. OX33 1JZ. England Saturday July 25th to Saturday 1st August 2020

You are invited to stay for a week practicing Abhinaya at the School’s residential centre at Waterperry near Oxford. We have found that coming together in this delightful setting in the Oxfordshire countryside provides the opportunity both for those with experience to extend and enhance their practice and for beginners to enjoy the delight of moving from inner stillness. The good company and beautiful surroundings invariably lead to an increased sense of peace and happiness.

The Abhinaya group will share the week with the School’s Music Group and it is envisaged that there will be some joint meetings and music and dance events. The daily programme will include singing, dance and quiet time. We will also spend some time looking after the house and helping to prepare meals.

The week is open to any member of the School around the world who meditates and has been on at least one residential. However, exceptions can be made where applicants understand and respect the ethos of the School - contact Sue Skelcey suesk@phonecoop.coop

Accommodation will be on a shared room basis with only a few single rooms available for those in genuine need. The beds have no linen so please bring 2 bed sheets, pillowcase and a bath towel. If this is not possible then there will be a charge of £10 for these items.* Students should bring their dance skirts or salva kamis. In the evening, smart casual wear is usual with the aim of giving a sense of occasion to the dinner.

The week will start at 4.00pm on the Saturday and expect to finish at 9 am on the last Saturday.Please leave time to find the house, locate your bedroom and have a cup of tea. The house will be open from 3pm

The cost of the week will be £287 payable in advance, See Booking Form for other details.There will be a charge for wine if taken. .

*Bedding and towels will be provided for overseas students free of charge

Early booking is strongly recommended as places are limited.

Overseas fee £210 Students in full time education £112

A place is not secured until booking form and payment are received.

Fees may be paid either by:

• Debit or Credit Card via Maggie Allen at Mandeville Place 020 7034 4000 Mon to Fri 10am – 4pm only. Students will be asked for various details such as Name, email address, telephone number etc
