Measure out Six squares that are 6 x 6 inches EACHPlace on wood boards over night covered with plastic

Next morning clay slabs will be less flexible and easier to handle. Some may need to be trimmed to fit better.

SLIP and SCORE all edges as you attach each slab to the BASE.

Place two slabs upright to support each other—reinforce interior seams with a COIL of clay slipped in to seal.

Page 9: Reflector box

Seal interior as you go, and then place the last side. Do not allow box to dry out, as we will now be carving designs in the sides. Once this

piece becomes too dry it is very fragile.

Page 10: Reflector box

Create opening in the top so a tea light or candle can be placed inside. In the dark, the shapes will reflect on nearby surfaces from

the light inside.
