    LOVE TO SEE YOU SMILE

    Community Services

    Clothes distribution(RC Delhi riverside) Visit to Ishth Guru Angadh Nagar colony where local problems were discussed

    and the youth were told about the importance of education and personal

    hygiene.(RC Delhi Vivek) A community Tuition center was started at Ishth Guru Angadh Nagar colony andcopy, pencil etc was distributed to 50 children(RC Delhi Vivek)

    Set up a stall in a Diwali Mela (held by Bharat Vikas parishadh) and IPEX ClubDiwali Mela where a HIV +ve couple displayed the sculptures made by them. A net

    sale of Rs 1500 was made by this event and was handed over to this HIV +ve

    couple.(RC Delhi Vivek)

    OrganizedAn educational trip to Mother dairy for 35 kids of Majboor NagarSlum (RC Delhi Vivek)

    Blood Donation camp at Sonipat(RC Sonipat) Art Competition at Grace Home for Children. Biscuits & Crayons were donated to

    each participant (50 participants), and prizes to the 3 best winners in the

    competition(RC Noida)

    Cards, diyas, envelopes etc. of 3 NGOs(including Grace Orphanage & SocialOutreach Centre ) were sold at Diwali Mela at sec 40 and Jaypee Greens to

    generate revenue for them(RC Noida)

    Diwali was celebrated at the old age home where we donated fruits and twodozen diyas. Also made the elderly play tambola & other games.(RC Noida)

    Held a dental checkup camp at Banphool School , near Yamuna River bank forstudents ageing 4-12yrs and distributed Colgate toothpaste, brush, andrefreshments to all (RC Delhi Zenith)

    Project Diwali celebration with slum children. Various activities like Diyapainting, Hand imprinting, Thread painting, candle lighting, Diya lighting, Leaf

    painting etc. were done. Also provided free lunch, including snacks and sweets for

    the slum children(RC Amity Physiotherapy)

    Continued with the Kosi project in this month also and collected a large amount ofclothes from University of Delhi, North Campus and sent the clothes to Goonj

    NGO who further sends the clothes to Bihar.(RC Delhi Akash)

    Celebrated Diwali by handing out few clothes and books to the underprivilegedchildren living nearby their locality (RC Gurgaon Qutab Enclave)

    52 blood units were donated at rotary club, Faridabad(RC YMCA) Participation in blood camp at Faridabad Medical Association(RC YMCA) Organized a Peace March, against increasing terrorism plaguing the country and

    exhorted the youth to awaken/ arise so that the same can be wiped out. This

    project was named Generation Awakening(RC Delhi Vikas)

    There was campaigning of the ideas of spread of knowledge among the instituteand among those living in abject poverty that could not afford to send their

    children to school, was organized at Santosh Medical college, Ghaziabad (RC Delhi

    Vikas)

    Pragati a sports meet for the students in the village adopted by the club(GCET)

    Dushera celebration by distributing eatables to the children in the RamlilaGround, Pilkhuwa (RC Pilkhuwa Disha)

    Donated money on account of Agersen Jyanti (RC Pilkhuwa Disha) 8 unit of blood to Rotary Blood Bank, Faridabad (RC MRDC) Donated money & eatables at Old age home, Faridabad (RC MRDC) Distributed Holy Books to poor children (RC Rewari)

    District Event-Peace March attended by RC-Delhi Vikas, Amity Physiotherapy,Delhi NCR, Delhi Riverside, Delhi Vivek, Ghaziabad North, Noida

    Installation Ceremony(RC Delhi Akash & IILM) The club organized a rangoli competition in Mayur Vihar inviting entries from all

    the societies in the area.(RC Delhi Zenith)

    Organized Diwali Utsav at a club in Mayur Vihar.(RC Delhi Zenith) A comprehensive list of DOs and DO NOTs was made to guide pet owners on

    what they can do to avoid their pets from getting panicky during the festival.

    About 5000 pamphlets and 100 posters were circulated in East Delhi through HTand TOI dated 28th October (Diwali Edition).(RC Delhi Zenith)

    Introduced a sub-ordinate board which is an extension to the club board.(RCASET)

    Making of website(RC ASET) Started another social service club in the college which is called The Helping

    Hand. The board members of the Rotaract Club of ASET guided the volunteers

    from The Helping Hand to set up their club and to start their proceedings (RC

    ASET)

    Cultural night with various performances by the Rotaractors and children of theRotarian members (RC Gurgaon Qutab Enclave)

    Counseling session imparted to the Rotaractors about social service, charity, nonviolence etc(RC YMCA)

    Diwali Mela and freshers party in college campus(RC YMCA) Celebrated Diwali among fellow Rotaractors (RC Pilkhuwa Disha) Diwali celebration at Old age home, Rewari (RC Rewari)
