Transcript of Reflection, Transparency, & Mirror Image Photography II: Project 2.
Objectives
Students will know and be able to demonstrate mastery of compositional guidelines, the art elements and design principles, by creating interesting images using reflected images as the focal point.
Students will manipulate some final images with “distort” filters, and others by flipping a portion of the image horizontally and/or vertically to create a “mirror image.”
Photography Problem
Look for reflective surfaces to create areas of interest in your photographs. You can also try placing a mirror or reflective object right up against your camera lens, angling it to create unique effects.
Project Criteria
You will take 60 photographs illustrating the themes of reflection, transparency, and mirror image.
◦Reflection (20 images)
◦Transparency (20 images)
◦Mirror image (20 images)
Final Images
Students will turn in three final images.◦1 image for reflection◦1 image for transparency◦1 image for mirror image
The student must use a distort filter or the mirror image technique on one of their final images.
Use the following naming conventions:◦lastname_firstname_reflection.jpg◦lastname_firstname_transparency.jpg◦lastname_firstname_mirror.jpg
