Avila, Nicoh D. N4-A Relfection February 16, 2015 On our first day of occupational nursing we went to Maynilad main office at Old Balara, Quezon City. We first had our breakfast and while waiting for Sir Mark we had a pre-orientation with Dr. Miranda, the first thing that I’ve noticed as I entered the facility is that the people are kind. They always smile when they see us. The facility is complete, with signs at the construction areas. Mr. Miranda showed us that Maynilad is the best when it comes to implementing health programs to its employees. They give the best programs and vaccinations to their employees because as what Dr. Miranda said it is best to prevent diseases because it would affect their work and later would compromise the company. They even had partnerships with other health care brands to have discounts on the medicine and other medical supplies. Mr. mark oriented as later in the afternoon about the facilities of the maynilad17 as well as the treatment facilities February 17, 2015 We had our first duty at the Aroceros branch, I was late because I got lost and the train is so crowded only one to two person descends from the train. When we were in the clinic we were greeted by the clinic nurse and I noticed that even her she is very kind and hospitable, we felt very comfortable when we were there. The clinic nurse introduces us to the other health care personnel in the clinic like the doctor, pharmacist, and the dentist. There were no other health concerns of the employees when they go to the clinic. Most of them just need to monitor their blood pressures. February 18, 2015

February 17, 2015We had our first duty at the Aroceros branch, I was late because I got lost and the train is so crowded only one to two person descends from the train.

February 18, 2015On our second Day at the Aroceros Branch, we had a tour at the supplies area and we met the person in charge. She said that those big pipes that are too heavy to carry are lifetime and they are heavy duty. The area is well secured and she educated us on how they carry those big pipes.

February 23, 2015On our first day at the field, we met at the Main office of MAYNILAD, we were instructed that we are going to have the fire extuingishers refilled and we will visit the storage area of the water in case more water is needed. During the trip we felt very hot because of the climate and we are crowded in the car. When we came to the storage of the emergency supplies we were given hard hats and the instructor educated us on the emergency supplies that they have including those boats for rescue and hard hats. We also visited the storage facilities of extra water at quezon city and I noticed that even though inside the facility they still have the proper signages and warning signs when there is a construction in the area. The area is well secured ensuring that the storage facility is safe and well monitored. One thing that we did was that we ate at the kambingan, it was very good and the instructor treated us. February 24, On our last day of duty we had a chance to go to La mesa area. Where they had their treatment facility from the ipo dam. I noticed that the area is well secured. We cant even go down the treatment facility. When we were at the clinic we made a tallying of the supplies. Then we refilled all the medical supplies in the area. After the duty we had a picture taking with our instructors and bid farewell. I enjoyed our duty in the occupational duty because I met different kinds of people along the way. :D
