Features tsLow temperaturerange

Abrasion

–40° F, ability to work in the coldest of temperatures

More abrasion resistance than Grade II rubber

Excellent rip and tear resistant, better tracking, moresplicing and fabrication possibilities

Able to go around small pulleys, bends, and crownedpulleys, even at the lowest of temperatures

Crescent Top, Chevron, smooth top cover —incline/decline, horizontal

Ability to perform in the coldest of temperatures(–40° F) and in high temperatures up to 180° F

Blue the standard for abrasive type conditions aswell as the coldest conditions

Thermoplastic formulation allows ease of fabricationusing common thermoplastic procedures

Longer belt life in abrasive, harsh, cold temperatureapplications

Interwoven

Many coverconfigurations tohandle the applications

Usage indoors/outdoors

polarflex®Lightweight conveyor belting (Transtex Belting) is pleased to introducepolarflex, our latest innovation for abrasive applications where lowtemperatures are present.Polarflex offers the capability of going as low as -40°F while offering topcover abrasion resistance better than Grade II rubbers (Din rating of 105-110).These capabilities make polarflex the preferred solution for the toughestapplications in the Agriculture, Metals/Recycling, and Grain industries. Apartfrom our initial product offering, polarflex technology can be applied tovirtually all of our standard interwoven, plied, and non-woven beltconstructions. In addition to an almost endless number of smooth coverconfigurations , most standard cover impressions are available in polarflexas well.Another feature of the polarflex compound is that its thermoplastic naturemakes it very conducive to fabrication and other value-added operationsusing common thermoplastic procedures.

So if your main application concerns involve cold temperatures or highlyabrasive conditions, then Forbo-Transtex polarflex is the belt for you.
