Job Title: Leasing Services Assistant

Reports to: Leasing Services Manager

The job holder is responsible for:
Assisting in the overall delivery of Osprey Initiatives housing and management services in accordance with business requirements.

Operating Environment:
Office based but spends time out in the field visiting tenants, conducting viewings, sign-ups, inventories etc. Manages distressing or emotional circumstances.

Job Description
Accountabilities1. Registers potential tenants and matches with suitable properties, including organising,
attending and conducting property viewings
2. Liaises with tenants, landlord clients partner organisations and contractors on all aspects relating to property leasing
3. Assists in marketing activities including publishing marketing material on company website and property portals. Including preparing floor plans, photography and property particulars
4. Provides a professional, caring, customer focused and cost effective service to tenants and landlord clients
5. Provides administrative tasks in relation to lease preparation, notice to quit, rent demands, administrating tenancy deposits, tenant referencing and all associated tenancy related paperwork
6. Organises and conducts check-ins, inspections and check-outs, including the relevant administration in drafting inventories, check out reassessments and deposit account finalisation
7. Arranges repairs, preterm inspections and void works, liaising with Asset Management where necessary
8. Ensures property files (database and hard copies) are maintained and kept up to date
9. Assists and supports the Leasing Services Manager with day to day property/housing management duties
10. Supports organisational business development activities
11. Posting transactions and lodging tenancy deposits
12. Handling Stage One complaints along with customer enquiries

Desirable: Experience in lettings and leasing in the private or mid-market rented sector is beneficial but not essential
