Reed Point Resident Died Last Week of Pneumonia /Y 11 iij William H. Langford, resident of the Reed Point community for 35 years, died of pneumonia at 12:30 a. m. Friday of last week at a Billings hos- pital. He had been in failing health for about one year. Mr. Langford was born at Panaca, Nevada, November ! 15, 1873, son of Fielding and Caroline • Langford. He resided in Nevada and 5 Idaho until 1896, moving then to Wil- i liston, North Dakota. In 1909 he moved i to the Reed Point community and - engaged in stock raising activities 3 there until the time of his death. He was married to Chloe Booth at Boze- , man, February 1, 1922. , Survivors, besides the widow, in- , elude one son, William H. Langford, - Jr., two sistejs, Mrs. C. E. Hartman, Reed Point, and Mrs. Anna Ray, f Beatty, Nevada; three step-sons, Clif- , ton Booth of Beer creek, Leslie Booth, 1 Bend, Oregon and Dwain Booth, serv- ing with the armed forces overseas; l seven grandchildren and several - nieces and nephews. In his younger days Mr. Langford 3 served as foreman for the Shoe Sole f cattle outfit in Idaho and Nevada, and 3 in 1896 he trailed 50(> head of horses l through Montana to North Dakota. Funeral services for Mr. Langford - were held at the Evangelical church, Reed Point, Monday afternoon, the Rev. E. J. Schroeder, pastor, officiat- ing. Pallbearers were J. F. Deeney, P. Roobol, ,A. P. Brumfield, Carl Mysse, O. P. Terland and Joe Bare. Inter- ment was in the Reed Point cemetery.
